Everyone loved this lasagna - even my meat-eater of a husband! I'm only giving it 4 stars though because it needed the slight modifications suggested by others. I added nutmeg to the spinach mix and I used fresh herbs and fresh, steamed spinach. I also used a "Garden Vegetable" pasta sauce to make it even more flavorful. It was great.

Carrot Cake III

I can't really give this recipe as it is a 5-star rating because it is only great with the modifications suggested by all the other reviewers! I made it with all those changes and it was fabulous. What I made, while it was based on this recipe, was NOT actually the same cake. Follow the modifications given in that one review that compiles all of them together & it will be fine. Everyone loved it at my house!

Ham and Cheese Bowties

Excellent recipe. My whole family loved it. It cooked up perfectly (just make sure you follow the instructions carefully to insure your white sauce turns out properly). I added some grated cheddar and bread crumbs to the parmesan topping and I included a little sharp cheddar and cayenne to the casserole to spice it up a bit. Yummy!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

These were to die for!!! Wonderful! Be sure and use foil on your pan and be careful with the crockpot - keep them on low for too long and they'll start to carmelize into "sausage candies". If you have a warm setting, use that instead (although frankly, they probably won't last that long ...yum!)

Holiday Dressing

Great dressing! I made it at Christmas. I used sage sausage, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It may seem moist when blended, but it cooks up perfectly textured. My family told me to cook this every year from now on!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Love this easy recipe - it's at home cooking right now while I work! But I use only one can of soup and I substitute beef broth for the water so it tastes much richer.

Mesquite Grilled Pork Chops with Apple Salsa

Yum! We loved this, but I did modify it slightly. I seasoned the chops first with an herb blend and let them sit for an hour. I didn't have applesauce so I used one fresh, chopped apple and a bit of apple juice instead in the salsa. The smoked flavor of the chops was to die for!! Don't overlook that part of the recipe.

Beef Enchiladas II

These were great! I loved the change from corn tortillas. I did as several suggested and used taco seasoning on the meat and canned enchilada sauce (2 cans). My husband said "These are better than restaurant enchiladas!"

Greek Chicken

Delicious! We loved it. I only marinated the chicken about 4 hours and cooked on a rack in my oven. I basted it continually to keep it moist. Will cook it on the grill too sometime - sure was good.

Greek Style Potatoes

These potatos were only "ok". They had sort of a bitter taste. Added salt and pepper to better enhance the flavor, but I can't say I'll make them again.
