Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
Quick, Easy and Delicious! Just the kind of recipe that I like. The foil is a must as this sauce can be a nightmare to get off the pan. The fresh oregano made a big difference too! I would recommend fresh over dried. I tried the garlic with the non stick spray as the recipe states but it ended up globbing together and burning. I tried it again and I added a little olive oil to the pan to saute the garlic. Much better! The sauce is so flavorful we will defninitly make this again.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
Sometimes alfredo can be bland but not this dish! This alfredo was very flavorful. I didn't think that 1 Tbsp of salt was correct so I just put 1 1/2 tsp instead. That was the only change I made and it turned out great! My family liked it! This is a keeper for me!

Cranberry Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
These bars are quick and easy to bake! I patted the dough in my hand and flattened it to put on top of the cranberry layer. I had a few uncovered places but it filled in while baking. The smelled wonderful while cooking!!!! Great fall recipe! Nikki

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
I used a 7lb frozen turkey breast. Buttered the crockpot and poured some olive oil over the top of it. Then I added a lot of Montreal chicken seasoning, salt, pepper and garlic powder. This was Super Quick to prepare and perfect when I got home after a LONG day at work. It was in the crockpot for 10 hours! It was perfect! I think the trick is... if you want to cook it for a long time, put the turkey in frozen that way it won't be overly dry if you put the turkey in after it has thawed.

Guinness® Corned Beef

EXCELLENT!The combination of brown sugar and Guiness is wonderful. This is so easy to make... a definite keeper. I cooked in the slow cooker and added the cabbage on the last hour. Everything was full of flavor. I added a bottle and 3/4 of another bottle of Guiness and cooked on low for about 8 hours. It turned out perfect.

Amy's Barbecue Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 30, 2006
Excellent salad! It definitely tasted like resturant quality! I added purple onion and shredded cheddar cheese. I also used leftover grilled BBQ chicken. I mixed one part BBQ sauce to 2 parts ranch as another reviewer suggested. It was perfect! Thanks for a nice summer salad. This is a keeper in my book!

Spinach Cheese Manicotti

Reviewed: May 20, 2006
Delicious! This recipe is a keeper! I tried the ziploc bag to pipe the filling in but I ended up ditching that idea and using another reviewers suggestion of using a baby spoon. That was a quicker, easier way to stuff the filling. One thing I will do next time is sprinkle the cheese topping about 15 mins before done. My cheese looked orange! Nevertheless, it had wonderful flavor. I will make again! Thanks!

Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
Wow! This dish was full of flavor! I was a little skeptical because I couldn't find the 7 oz cans of jalepeno salsa or cans of green chili salsa. I ended up using a jar of salsa verda and another jar of salsa verde with jalepenos! The flavor was amazing! It had just the right amount of spice for my taste. Perfect! It was really easy to make also. Of course, you can make it even quicker if you buy a rotissire chicken. This one is a keeper!

Cranberry Pork Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2002
I cooked the pork roast for 8 hours in my crockpot and found that it was very dry. I will definitely check it at 6 hours next time. Overall, the flavors were wonderful and the delicious gravy helped hide the dry roast. I will definitely make this again.
