Black Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
This was very good. Needed to add red onion to replace the green onion, Gave it more flavor. Also added extra cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper. Lime juice from fresh lime. It was very fresh and light. Very good for canned veggies. Would make again, for a summer bbq. its nice & light to have.

Hot Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
Very dissapointed. For the record, almost every recipe i try, i love from allrecipes. I always bring dips to parties. This just didnt cut it. Even for me, i felt like this was just okay. I am used to people begging me for the recipe of my appys, and this there was some extra left. Sorry. if you are goingto make this, try before you bring somewhere, in my opinion.

Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms II

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
simple, easy, fast & DELISH! Gone in minutes. You would not think that just cream cheese and sausage would be so good, BUT it really is. Usually stuffed musrooms are more "dry" these are just right. I added onion & garlic when browning sausage. added garlic poweer, salt & pepper. sprinkled top with bread crumbs and more garlic power and parm cheese. broiled. SO GOOD. i want oneright now!

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2008
i have never had German Potato Salad before, and WOW was I missing out?! I made a few alteration to the already fabulous recipe. i boiled the potatoes with a beef boulin cube, as other reccomended doubled the sauce, good idea. 1/2 white vinager, 1/2 red wine vineager. Only had cerely salt on hand, used that, VERY good, used extra bacon. This is great. will make this whole summer to bring to BBQ's for a diff twist! THANK YOU

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
in my honest opinion, this recipe is not worh trying. i feel the flavor does not soak into the chicken enough. Also, it called for a 1/2 cup of butter. Thats an entire stick!!! So i used a 1/2 stick and olive oil. Did not care for this... However, the marinade/basting sauce itself was good. I think it would be good to marinate boneless hcicken breasts in, or even steak or pork. may try that. Thanks anyway.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
it was good. the mushrooms were awesome, the chicken was moist. did 1/2 cup chicken brothe, 1/4 white wine. i would add more mushrooms next time becuase they were so tasty. it was not "vineagery" at all. served over whole wheat egg noodles and sauteed asparagus. Yum.

i usually always give 5 stars from the recipes ive tried, but this was so so. honestly it was a great starter recipe. maybe green onions would be better. towards teh end of cooking i took the foil off, added bread crums and parm cheese. made for a nice crispy top. Wont make again though.

this recipe was simple and easy. I needed to find one like my mothers, since i couldnt get a hold of her today, and this is it. i was skeptical when it said to add teh canned soups but it taste perfectly homemade. Also, boiled bone in chicken with carrots, quarted onion and a bayleaf in 1/2 chicken stock 1/2 water. used busquick to make the dumplings!!! Wouldnt make any other way!!!

Cheesy Pork Chops with Spicy Apples

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2007
my boyfriend made this for me last night, and it was awesome. seriously great. i would of never chose to make it, becasue it says cheesy, and even though i love cheese, didnt think it would like it on pork chops. you dont need alot of cheese. and the apples give it a nice fresh taste. made with a salad and perogies. YUM

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
OMG i was so sure about this, becuase sometimes i do not even like marsala, depending. but this was great. the pork was perfectly tender, and the sauce got better the more it sat out. i made it with roasted red potatoes (which i almost cook fully in microwave) then tossed with olive oil, fresh parsley, lots of garlic powder, a littel bit of crushed red pepper, salt & pepper. YUM. and with peas. This is a keeper, and ver impressive looking. Thanks.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
i must admit i was sceptical about this recipe becuase of how many people said it was "okay" but i tried it anyway since it was SO HIGH in review. i love it. It is great. EXTREMELY MOIST and PERFECT flavor. i added some nutmeg and cinnamin to the batter and some extra sprinkled brown sugar on top. the only thing i would say is it took 30 minutes longer then the recipes says it will cook for. But it really is moist and delish! Try it, i do not think you will be dissapointed. But def added more flavors. if i had vanilla i would of added that too!

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2006
I felt extremely guilty serving this fattening soup to my boyfriend, but i must say, AWESOME! The texture was perfect. I used sharp cheddar, i got the ocar mayer bacon bits, and added chicke nbroth at the end to thin it out. after everything was in the pot in was done very quickly. Also, i do not feel you really "need" the sour cream. i put 1/2 of what they said to put in, but i really didnt make a diff. reheated nicely with teh addition of soem chicken broth. Will make again for a nice winter dinner with salad or a nice steak.
