Sweet Dinner Rolls

These rolls are fabulous as written. I've made them so many times, with many variations. I have a breadmaker, but I prefer to make these the traditional way. The dough is very easy to work with. The taste is amazing. I've used a few variations over the years; Such as all water and no milk. I've replaced the egg with oil. I've added herbs and spices into the butter mixture. And as the recipes states, wonderful for cinnamon AND orange sweet rolls. This is a great starting point for making amazing rolls your family will love. And remember: It's just food. Play with it!

Simple Scones

I made these once before and they didn't turn out. I just made them again, and oh my. They are delicious! I followed the basic recipe, substituting plain Greek yoghurt for the sour cream. Right before forming it into a ball in the bowl, I added 1/2 c. frozen blueberries and 1/2 c. slivered almonds. Baked as directed, then let cool. I drizzled melted chocolate mixed with orange flavor on top. Half of them received semi-sweet. The other half received white chocolate. Delicious with my cup of Earl Grey :)

Black Magic Cake

Oh. My. God. I recently made this for a birthday and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD good. The Birthday Boy requested almond butter-cream frosting, which was also amazing, but incredibly sweet and not for this cake. I think next time I'll use a cream cheese frosting or skip it all-together. This cake can definitely hold it's own without a frosting. Absolute MAGIC.

Fruit Ball

I'm obsessed with cheese balls. My mother has been making the savory versions for years. It's a staple at every family get-together. This year, I'll WOW them with this. I plan on serving it with mini toast (another obsession is my mini loaf pan).

Cinnamon Rolls II

The recipe says it is to be made in the bread machine, yet the author of the post says to cut it in half for bread machines. I have a 1.5lb machine and make a recipe similar to this (with more flour) in it about 4 times a week with no problems. Regardless, I will be making it as written.
