Touchdown Italian Sausage Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2012
It was excellent. I couldn't find cream sherry at the local grocery store, so I used cooking sherry with a teaspoon of sugar to sweeten it up. I got rave reviews and even a few people asking for the recipe!! Thanks.

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2013
Great recipe! I scaled it down to make one serving. Added some sliced baby bella mushrooms and onions. I added about a teaspoon of sesame dressing to the sauce too. Turned out great!! I don't know why people complain about other people giving their suggestions on a recipe in the reviews. That is my favorite part about allrecipes. I look for similar suggestions and follow them.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2013
Great mix! A little spicy for my kids, but perfect amount of heat for me. Update:09-10-2014 Ever since I found this recipe, I no longer buy the store bought seasonings loaded with MSG anymore. I just triple the recipe and store it so I have it on hand:) Wish I could give it 10 stars!!!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2013
Love this recipe! It is a regular staple in my household. We have it a couple times a month. I sometimes use tomato sauce instead of ketchup and I add garlic just because I love garlic.

Tarragon-Dill Grilled Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
I was looking for a recipe similar to one my friend makes (she only gave me an ingredient list without measurements and I totally messed it up) and this was great. I used left over roast chicken, cut the ingredients in half because I only had about 2 cups of chicken, accidentally forgot the vinegar and lemon juice in the sauce but still tasted great! Oh and I added slivered almonds for crunch. Yum!

Nicola's Pad Thai

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2014
Finally made pad thai from scratch and used this recipe. Yum! Turned out great. I halved the recipe since it was only for 1, didn't have tamarind paste so I subbed a little lime juice and fish sauce for the sour. I also didn't have chili paste so I used powder, and I used fresh garlic instead of preferred. I used a gourmet seafood mix and only used mushrooms and snowpeas for the veggies. I loved it. Next time I will make sure to have all the ingredients on hand to give it a more adequate rating. Oh, I also only soaked the noodles for 30 minutes in really hot tap water like the directions on the noodle package called for.

Best Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2012
Excellent! I doubled the garlic, used penne pasta, and lowered the wine to about 3/4 cup as others suggested. I also used a chicken susage, so I had to saute in olive oil. I threw in a couple hand fulls of spinach at the end. I also sprinkled some shredded mozzarella and parmesan in each bowl and served with crusty buttered bread. It was delicious!

Egg Drop Soup (Better than Restaurant Quality!)

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2012
I have never made Egg Drop soup before, but with the help of this base recipe it turned out great! I used about a cup and a half of home made pork stock (asian inspired made with fish sauce and daikon)that I had left over and needed to use. I veggied it up by adding diced carrot, kale, and peas. Still used the same amount of cornstarch and the thickness was just fine to my preference. I will definitely make this again!! Thanks. Oh, and I didn't use the food coloring and did not add salt.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2012
Made this recipe tonight following some of the other reviewers advice. I used steak seasoning with the flour instead of just salt and pepper and tossed the steak in it first before pan searing it in oil. I also tripled the garlic and added italian seasoning. Followed everything else and it turned out great! Will be making it again. Might add a 1/4 cup of red wine and stewed tomatoes to mix it up a bit. Oh....I also added about a teaspoon of sugar.
