Sweet and Sour Turkey Patties
These are absolutely fantastic. I didn't change anything about the patty itself. The only things I did change was I didn't add any oil to the sauce. I lightly coated the pan that the patties were being cooked in so they wouldn't stick. I also substituted sugar free syrup for the maple syrup because I can't have to much sugar due to health reasons. I combined all the sauce ingredients. The sauce was a little thick so I added about 3 tbsp of water to thin it out just a little bit. These patties with the sauce came out amazing. They taste like something that is extremely naughty when in fact they are good for you. I used 93% lean ground turkey. I served this with creamed cauliflower to further make it a healthier alternative. This is a definate keeper!!!

Beer Lime Grilled Chicken
I liked the fundamental ingredients in this recipe. I think the base was good. What I used was chicken tenderloins, 12 oz of good polish beer, onion,garlic, and seasoned salt powders. I also added hot sauce to my taste. I also took the cilantro and did about 1/4 cup anymore would have been too much. I bruised and chopped the cilantro to release its flavors. Also I am not a fan of honey so I used about 1 tbsp of brown sugar loose not hard packed. I also added a bit of saffron for color and juiced a whole lime . I let everything mingle together for about 2 hours because while I wanted flavorful chicken I didn't want chicken that was too boozy tasting. I grilled it and served with a cilantro lime rice. I didn't care for the rice it was too much cilantro with the amount that was already in the chicken. For future Servings of this chicken I will make pan or oven roasted garlic potatos or a simple white rice. This chicken is outstanding, easy and flavorful.

Apple Coffee Cake
I love this cake recipe. Although I must say it has more of a regular cake texture than a coffee cake texture. It is sweet, delicious, moist. I did make some substitutions. I used fat free sour cream and low fat butter spread instead of full fat butter. I needed a cake which would make me a little less guilty for eating it lol. I also added 3 tbsp of apple butter to the mix. Just to add a little moisture. I have an electric range oven so I did have to cook mine for about 11 minutes more. I also used a 9 inch round cake pan cuz that is what I had handy. This recipe isa keeper.
