Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III
These were definitely tasty. However, I made the mistake of making of balls of dough on the cookie sheet too large and they came out like soft scones, nonetheless, the flavor was amazing! I added pumpkin spice, some nutmeg and some cloves in addition to the cinnamon. I also added a few tablespoons of maple syrup. I also used 1/2 C white & 1/2 C brown sugar and 1 C white & 1 C wheat flour. I don't think I used quite 2 C of chocolate chips, I just eye-balled it, then added 3 or 4 extra chocolate chips to each cookie as it was about to go into the oven. I omitted the nuts.
Everyone gave me rave reviews, aside from my husband who does not like cake, which these cookies resemble.
