Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2015
I used 2lbs of boneless ribs so I used a whole cup of each the maple syrup and the low sodium soy sauce. I used 1 tablespoon of each spice and added about 1/3 cup of honey and a heaping table spoon of molasses. After a couple hours in the crock pot I added whatever bbg sauce (not a sweet kind) to cut the sweetness to my liking. The final product had a great tangy taste. Turned into absolutely delicious pulled pork!!!My boyfriend says it's his favorite version of pulled pork so far! Will definitely make again.

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2014
So delicious and easy. I did change it a little and it was fantastic. Used honey and Dijon mustard to my liking. Added cornstarch to thicken like others did. Definitely a must. Cooked the bacon ahead of time and then crumbed and put aside. Pounded out the chicken to make them thin. Salt and peppered the chicken and then poured a thin layer of the honey/mustard on the bottom of the greased baking dish. Put the chicken on top and poured on the remaining h/m mixture. Covered and baked at 350 for 30 min. Uncovered the chick and sprinkled the crumbled bacon over each breast. Topped with freshly shredded cheddar cheese since I didn't have mozzarella. Cooked til cheese was bubbly. Delicious!!!

Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2013
Very tasty!!! Peeled and cut the cucumbers a couple hours earlier, added salt and let some of the water drain out. Change up the recipe after reading all the reviews. Used fat free French vanilla yogurt, fat free sour cream, 1 tsp of onion powder, I tsp of garlic powder and 1 tbs spoon of tastefully simple dill mix. Taste was a bit odd so I added 1 tbs of distilled white vinegar and was perfect. Added salt and pepper to season. Felt not quite enough dill so added about a 1/2 tsp more and YUMMY! Will make again for sure!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
So eaasy and delicious. I used a 4.5 pork shoulder. I rubbed garlic powder, salt and pepper over the whole thing. I sliced one medium sized onion and placed the pieces on the bottom of the crock pot. I placed the shoulder on top of the layer of onion then sliced another onion and placed those pieces on top of the shoulder. I then added enough of a two liter bottle of root beer to cover the shoulder. I slow cooked the shoulder for 10 hours on low overnight. When I took the pork out in the AM it came out in pieces it was sooo teder. I separated the fat which was minimal from the shredded pork and threw all the pork back into the root beer bath for a couple minutes. I then removed it, discarded the root beer and added sweet baby rays. I put the crock pot of shredded pork in the fridge to sit until I put the crockpot back on low for about an hour before dinner. SO DELICIOUS! SO EASY! The familu can't wait for me t make it again

Kathy's French Toast Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
THis was delicious!!! So easy because you can make it the night before!! I made sure that the whole bottom of the pan was evenly covered with bread, which means I added more than in the recipe. I then cubed the cream chees put that on top of the first layer of bread and then filled in all the rest of the pan with more bread so it was an even layer across. I added probably a cup of maple syrup instead and two teaspoons of cinnamon. It tasted as good as it smelled while it was cooking. Heated up some real maple syrup and drizzled on top. YUM!

Hash Brown Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
Everyone loved it! Used 5 eggs and glad I did. Used hashbrowns on the bottom and then sprinkled garlic/garlic seasoning (tastefully simple) over it and a little pepper. Only drizzled a small amount of butter over it. Used thick prepackaged deli ham slices and cut them into small pieces. Probably added 1 1/2 cups. I diced up 1/2 cup of onion and sautee'd it because I didn't want it crunchy and it was delicious. I also added extra cheese. It tasted delicious and couldnt have been easier. Will make this again for sure!!!
