Ham Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
I love that this was super easy to make with my leftover ham. I made it as a one pot meal so few dishes. The 3 toddlers here all had seconds (it is pretty bland, maybe because I did not use pimentos). Adding mushrooms works well if you are a mushroom fan like me.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
This is my favourite go to recipe for banana bread. The house smells phenomenal when I make it. Make sure to use lots of banana. It's a hit with everyone who has tried it.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
I was hoping for a bread pudding with more of a custard texture and found this recipe did not fit the bill. The children did not like it and I found it mediocre. Hubby on the other hand devoured most of the pan himself! My search for a custard like bread pudding continues...

Chocolate-Glazed Turtle Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
It was easy to make. I love chocolate and thought it was great. The rest of the family found it was too much chocolate and too rich to eat much of.

It was simple and wonderful. I used pinot grigio as I did not have sherry. Turned out excellent!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2013
Followed recipe exactly except omitted added sugar (as others suggested). Whole pan was devoured. Will definitely be my go to lasagne recipe!

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
I made this recipe exactly but substituted whole wheat flour as an attempt to be healthier for my daycare children. They came out perfect! The toddlers gave them a big thumbs up. So did the husband. Needless to say, no leftovers.

Chef John's Perfect Prime Rib

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2013
Followed directions and had beef out 6 hours. I used a less then 3 pound roast - was nervous that it wouldn't work as it was so small. It came out a perfect medium rare.
