Well now....I LOOKED at the pic and thought OH NO! I don't care for hard boiled eggs...BUT!!! Its called a MEAT pie. Needless to say...I read it, made it EXACTLY as called for (with ONE crust on TOP!!) and my youngest son loved it!! It is his second day after he had his braces tightened...he CAN'T chew anything hard. He had 2 helpings! Thanks for the recipe!!

Chris' Bay Area Burger

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2006
Very good recipe. My kids (12 & 17) enjoyed it a LOT. Was fun trying to get them to pic the "different" spice!! KINA!! I was taught how to make a burger patty long ago. Make into a ball...then between your palms, flatten the burger to where you want it....thick or thin. As you flatten it...keep turning the burger and gently squeeze the sides together to get ALL the air pockets out....dont make TOO thin or it will be tough. Its not like making need to handle the burger more to get all the air out...wont have any cracking and wont have that "ball" problem!!! Good luck....

Classic Cuban Midnight (Medianoche) Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2006
Well, I guess the person that didn't even TRY to lighten the calories has never had a Philly Steak Sand!!! THAT has MORE calories,LOL. This sandwich is awesome the way I made it. Used Miracle whip and prob 1/4 cup for 4 sandwiches. Made with Honey Baked Ham, less salt AND calories, used left over pork, again, less calories AND salt. Used olive oil and regular french rolls. Mind you I only made it that way because thats what we use at home!!! Tasted GREAT! And Im sure no one would notice!!! Thanks for the recipe!!

This is how I was taught as a child to make artichokes. But, my Mom put it in a pressure cooker. Needless to say, my hubby thought I would blow the house up with it so I changed to steaming it. They always come out perfect! Only thing I do different is use garlic butter to dip. Kids and I fight over them, so now I have to make 4!! Great treat or after school snack!

Rustic Slow Cooker Stew

I made this exactly how it said to. There was WAY too much wine and it needed a lot of thickening for my taste.
