I made homemade spaghetti sauce for my mom's birthday dinner - my first time entertaining a group. I thought if I let it cook in the crock pot all day it would be really tasty. But when I got home from work, I discovered that the sauce had burned onto the sides of the crock pot and my guests were arriving in 15 minutes. I tried to salvage the sauce by adding some sugar to try to hide the bitterness but it tasted terrible. I was going to order some pizza but my very supportive family insisted on trying it and pretended that it tasted great and ate it anyway.

Jalapeno Popper Spread
One of the best dips I've ever tasted! I added shredded cheddar to the cream cheese mixture, omitted the parm and topped with panko bread crumbs instead to give it the crunch that poppers have. Used french bread slices to dip. Phenominal!!!

Caprese Burger
Hi everyone! I submitted this recipe and since coming up with it have started to substitute about 1/4 cup storebought pesto for the basil, parm and garlic. It's easier and I think even tastier! The marinated tomatoes are a MUST!

Flourless Chocolate Cake I
PURE CHOCOLATE HEAVEN!!!!! I used brewed coffee instead of the water, a bad of semisweet chips and a nestle 4oz bar of bittersweet. used large eggs. baked in my 9 inch springform pain for exactly 45 minutes, refrigerated for a few hours, sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with real whipped cream and fresh raspberries. PURE CHOCOLATE HEAVEN! I'd give this 10 stars if I could!
