Garlic Prime Rib
I prepared a "Whole Pay Check Foods" 7 pound ribeye roast with the bones partially separated and tied on. I deviated from the recipe in three ways. First, I did not let the roast sit at room temperature due to lack of time. Second, I substituted Lawry's seasoning for the salt. Finally, as I was using a convection oven, the two temperatures that used were 475 degrees and 300 degrees. My roast took a little over three hours to cook. I gave this roast to close friends as a present. The result was said to be "perfect" and a "masterpiece".
