Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
I really liked this a lot. I've tried other peanut sauces in the past, but this one was by far my favorite. This was the first time I've had udon noodles, and I didn't really care for them. I'll use linguini next time. My sauce was thin at first but I boiled it for a minute and it thickened up very nicely. If you don't love your food really spicy you'll want to watch how much chili paste you add. I LOVE spicy food and it was pretty spicy for me. I will definitely be making this again with different additions like vegetables and tofu. Thanks so much!

Triple Fudge Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
These are great. They keep getting moister each day! I baked them in a 9x13 inch pan and it worked fine, I just had to bake them a little longer. There are lots of chocolate chips in them, so next time I might use 1 cup chips and 1 cup chopped pecans. Thanks a lot for such an easy and delicious recipe!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
These were pretty good. I used funfetti cake and rainbow chip frosting with white coating. I needed a lot more coating than the recipe called for. If I make these again I will try chocolate cake with chocolate frosting or coconut pecan frosting. Very unique and versatile recipe. Thanks!

Zucchini Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
This was so good. I browned the breaded zucchini slices in a frying pan instead of baking them (sprayed each side with olive oil cooking spray). I also used 3 whole eggs instead of 6 egg whites in the ricotta mixture, and used 2 whole eggs for breading the zucchini. And I added some parmesan cheese to the ricotta cheese and used spaghetti sauce instead of tomato sauce. This is a great way to use up extra zucchini and would also be good with eggplant. This is a definite keeper!

Sizzling Chicken Skewers

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
These were ok. Definitely cut the marinade ingredients in half if you're only using 3 chicken breasts. It makes enough for at least 6 breasts. Also, these stuck to the grill, so we rolled up some tin foil into logs and put each end of the skewers on them so they didn't touch the grill. They were pretty salty too, so I recommend using low sodium soy sauce and not using any additional salt at all.

Fabulous Zucchini Grinders

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
These were really great. I added onion and mushrooms to the zucchini. To avoid soggy bread I used sliced provolone cheese instead of shredded and lined the bread with cheese so that the sauce wouldn't soak into the bread. It worked great. Next time I'm going to try adding some vegetarian Italian sausage crumbles to these. Yum!

Really Basic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
Wow! These are so easy and good. I can whip them up whenever I want since I always have the ingredients on hand. I dipped my fork into sugar before pressing the cookies down so they wouldnt stick. Next time I will try adding some peanut butter or chocolate chips to the dough. Thanks so much!

Swiss-Onion Bread Ring

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
This was very good. I only used 1/4 cup butter and it was plenty. It made a little too much for us, so next time I will halve the recipe and make it in a loaf pan. Thank you so much for this excellent recipe!

Chicken Vicious

I really wanted to like this recipe, but it just didn't do it for me. It had a strange flavor. I think it might've been the onion powder. Not sure. Oh, well, thanks anyway.

Butter Crescents

Reviewed: May 3, 2007
These were awesome! I brushed the circles with melted butter before I cut them into wedges and brushed them with butter instead of egg before baking. I also made 24 rolls instead of 12 and they ended up being about the same size as the refrigerated kind you buy. They were still excellent the next day after being popped in the microwave for about 7 seconds. I'll be making these all the time. Thanks a lot!

This is my all time favorite cookie! They're sooooo good! Sometimes I add chopped pecans to the dough, but they're still delicious without them. Definitely give this one a try. They're too good to pass up!

Delicious! I always have just a little too much filling for the pie crust, but that's ok. I also let it chill in the refrigerator overnight. Definite keeper!

Cream Cheese Finger Cookies

These cookies are awesome and come out perfect every time. Regarding a previous review, this recipe makes more than a dozen cookies. Just follow the instructions and make the 2 inch logs. I make them roughly the size of my thumb. 12 servings doesn't necassarily mean 12 cookies. Hope that helps!

French Onion Pan Rolls

Super easy and bursting with flavor! Sometimes I have trouble getting frozen bread dough to rise, so I put it in the oven and turn the heat on just enough to make it warm and then turn the heat off and leave the dough in to rise. It works great.
