Coconut Ambrosia Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2004
This is a great base recipe, I had to alter it a bit for ingredients I had on hand. No whip cream, so made my own with heavy cream and sugar. After reading reviews, I substituted greek yogurt for the milk (pineapple and vanilla flavor) and then added diced apples and walnuts. Took it to a church dinner and there was only a little left in the bottom of the bowl, so I am guessing it was good, I definitely enjoyed it!

Very Good! I used the review of another and omitted the water and put sour cream in it's place. I also added chicken when I sautee'd the onions. Very Hearty!

Wassail Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2005
I made this for Thanksgiving and I am now making it for every gathering. I forgot the lemon juice once and it still turned out fine. I put the juices together the night before and refrigerate overnight. I then pour it all into the slow cooker with the cloves pushed into an orange as others suggested, and also the cinnamon sticks. The aroma is fabulous and everyone finishes it before I have a chance to try it. Thanks

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
This was delicious! My husband loved it! I did not have crispy cereal so I used corn flake crumbs. It turned out great. My husband wants to try it again with the crispy cereal, so he went out and bought some. Thanks, it's a keeper.

Mocha Biscotti

I made these for my Italian Grandpa for Christmas, he loved them. I will be making these again. The flavors are not too strong after baking, you just have to like these particular flavors.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This has become a family favorite. Whenever it rains outside my husband requests it. I do add peas and whatever veggies I may have on hand. I also use chicken broth instead of the water.

Salsafied Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
This was great. I was not sure if two cups of rice meant cooked or uncooked so I only put one bag of uncooked rice in and it needed more so I put two. Hopefully that will help anyone else that may be wondering. It is definitely worth tryig.

Ashley's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2006
I just tasted one of these cookies from the oven. Very good, I was surprised by the differant reviews. I had no problem with the dough. I did cream it all by hand to make sure though. Just make sure you add the flour mixture a little at a time. The cookies were not flat either, they were really good. I needed a milk chocolate, cashew cookie recipe so I decided on this one and glad I did. It is a differant taste, but a good one. Thanks

Applesauce Oatie Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2006
I am giving this a 4 1/2 star. The only reason being, I am not a big raisen fan, so I sub craisens, I would prefer either or, not both. My hubby agreed, he would of preferred only choc chips. A very good cookie and I love that it has applesauce. Thanks
