Sopa De Lima (Mexican Lime Soup)

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
Amazing!! So refreshing! I didn't use fresh tomatoes, I used Rotel and a can of green chiles to save time. Also, I added corn niblets, rice and carrots for my tasting. I make a pot EVERY WEEK!!

AMAZING!! Tastes like a very high end restaurant quality chicken salad! So good with all the crunch! This is a keeper! The cream definately cuts the mayo taste!

Donna's Cheesy Quiche

I didn't like the texture of this quiche, it was almost "mealy" or "gritty." Not sure if I did something wrong but not for my liking.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
Very good base, and like the recipe say, you can add more of anything. I changed the ham to bacon, used milk and half and half and added carrots. I also pureed half of the potato mixture to give it more of a rest. consistancy. Very yummy but be prepared to add more milk, it gets super thick the longer it sits.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Super EASY!! Really good taste. I used Campbell's Golden Mushroom and it tasted just as good as the original. I also didn't cube the chicken to save time and cooked it on high for about 3-4 hours, chicken didn't get dried out. Definitely a family dinner keeper!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
I would give the TEN stars if I could!! So good, better than a rest. I took others advice and did diced can tomatoes but then remade it with fresh today, still a great taste. A great base to add any veggies you want. I added fresh parm at the end and it was FAB!!!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

I thought they were very good but SUPER rich! I baked the 2nd batch for only 6 minutes. 8 was too much the first time. Easy trick to get out of the pan, use a knife when they have cooled a bit and spin it around the cookies a few times and they will spiral right out.

FABULOUS!!! A big hit at the dinner party! I used candied pecans and had to substitute apples for the pears. A salad that could be served all year around!

Lasagna Alfredo Roll Ups

LOVE THIS!! It was so easy and the presentation is great for family dinner or a dinner party. So much easier than traditional lasagna. I didn't add the mozzarella on top and it still turned out great!

Baked Potato Soup V

I am really sad to give this 3 stars, esp after reading all the reviews, but it was just missing something. I added 2 garlic cloves and more cheese, and it still wasn't I was hoping. BEWARE: the prep time is extremely long..if you microwave the potatoes in 3's it will take almost 45 minutes of micro time. Not a fast recipe.

Toscana Soup

Delicious, just like Olive Garden!! I would only recommend using hot Italian sausage links with casing removed. I took advice of using more chicken stock instead of all the water, a winter favorite now!

Super moist and crispy outside. Mine cooked in less than an hour, I did both a glass pan and a nonstick at the same time. Add vanilla too!

Very good soup. Does get very thick the next day, I had to add more milk to thin it out, but a wonderful taste. I used Jimmy Dean sausage.

AMAZING, it gets eaten up first at every party. Definately make the same day, the basil wilts it you do it the day before and doesn't have the same taste. SO GOOD!

I made this for a friend because I am not a muchroom fan, but it was actually quite good. Definately needs garic and I added sharp cheddar instead of the parm. Very hearty and creamy, a nice tasting base.

Parmesan and Basil Chicken Salad

Very different taste, almost like a pesto chicken salad. I added nuts for a crunch since the celery was pureed and also added a clove of garlic. Overall, very good!
