Jalapeno Popper Cups

Absolutely wonderful. I like this idea much better than a whole Jalapeno stuffed, believe me. Second time we left the bacon off and enjoyed just as much with cheese topping. Had to watch carefully and broil the last minute or two. Careful is the operative word!!! Burn easily.

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Perfect to use to make Tamales. Tamales are an all day process but worth the effort. I make the "dough" very thin on the corn shucks and add a generous amt of meat. Very good for that purpose.

Simple Garlic Shrimp

Sweet Dinner Rolls

I have no bread maker so I tested the yeast, made the bread and rather than make crescents I rolled them 1/2 in thick and I then cut 1 by 4 " strips, tied in a loop and rolled in butter. Let them rise in a flat pan and baked. My family loved them and so did I . Found a keeper with this recipe. Oh boy! Wonderful luncheon size.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

It's been so long since I ate this wonderful, flavorful salad/dessert. Salty to sweet and the fruit flavor takes me back many years to my Mom's experimentation with food. She was only told how to make the crust and from there developed a dead ringer for this one. Thank you. I made it and love it all over again.

Such positive results! Recipe, as is, is the secret. Too many of us change the recipes and screw them up. My theory is, it isn't the tried and true recipe from a family/individual once it's messed with.

Pineapple Pretzel Salad

Oh my word! So unexpected and a taste delight. I have only sons and a husband so I speak from a slanted point of view. This dessert is one of the best, fastest and most pleasing by taste or sight, we've had in years. Just screams SPRING!!!!!!!

Deep South Fried Chicken

Truly a Southern fried chicken. Perfect instructions. Please don't mess with a basic thing like SOUTHERN fried chicken. Want eggs.? Scramble a few, but don't roll chicken in them. Yuck.
