Ham and Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
This all right. Not blown away by it, but it wasn't terrible. Made it exactly as recipe said. If there's a next, I will add spice or something to jazz it up a bit.

Candied Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2011
This was great. It remember me of Empress Chicken from the Chinese restaurant. Like some others noted, I reduced the cooking time in half, and it turned out perfect. I served it with the sauce spooned over brown rice. Everyone loved it!

Best Ever Meatloaf with Brown Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
Delicious meatloaf and gravy. Didn't have any mushrooms and the gravy was still great.

Salt and Vinegar Chicken

I followed the recipe to the letter, and it added nothing to the flavor of the thighs. Boring!

Hash Brown Casserole I

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2010
I followed instructions, and casserole was fine. However, it was a bit bland. Maybe next time I'll add more hot sauce or a dash of Worcheshire sauce.

Bacon-Mushroom Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
Followed the recipe excepted used vegetable broth instead of chicken. Was okay, but have had better brussels sprout recipes before.

Ground Turkey Casserole

I added chopped green onion into the sour cream/cream cheese mixture. Turned out great. So easy. This is a new "go-to" meal.

Spiced Chicken Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
This turned out great. I ground my own chicken using breast meat only. So I was worried that it would turn out dry. As a result, I used a couple of dashes of soy sauce in place of salt. Everything else was the same. Will definitely make again. So delicious!

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
This has become one of my go to recipes. I mix up the ingredients all the time. Last night I sauteed mushrooms and scallions, let them cool before putting in the bottom of my dish, then added chopped bits of smoked salmon. OMG, it was so delicious! It was gobbled right up by my friends, who didn't seem to notice that there was no true crust.

Summer Squash Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
I found this to be very tasty. The only thing I did different was cook the squash and onion together and then drained it. It seemed to keep the bread crumbs from gumming up. Will make again.

Eggplant Au Gratin

I didn't have individual ramekins, and so cooked in round baking dish. Still turned out delicious. Definitely will make this again.

Was delicious and I too didn't use as much banana and threw in some walnuts. I will use this recipe again.

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
I turned to this recipe because my pork loins have always been too tough. So I never buy loin and usually stick with butts. But pork loins were on sale and so I tried this recipe because so many of the reviews said it made the loin so tender. Unfortunately, it didn't work for my roast. I followed the recipe exactly, and while it did add some favor, the roast was still too tough and chewy.

Tater Tot Casserole III

This was delicious, but be sure and cut back on the butter like everyone is saying. Otherwise, too greasy.

Curried Microwaved Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2006
This was awesome! I too cooked it on the stovetop, substituted 2% evaporated milk for cream and threw in a handful of frozen sweet peas. Then I served it over couscous that I had mixed with raisins and almond slivers. It is was a big hit and will definitely become a regular. Next time I'm trying it with shrimp!
