I think I liked this better before adding the cheese. Otherwise good flavor.

Salsa Cheese Boule Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
made the dip exactly as is but did not put in a bread bowl. i baked it until bubly and served with tortilla chips. This was nothing special, it was very tangy and quite thin. I would not make this again.

Dutch Babies II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
looks so special, but SO easy to make. Our local restaurant charges $9 for a dutch baby, but this cost less than $1 to make. Still cant believe how wonderful and tasty this turned out. Making it again tomorrow morning to try more toppings.

Spicy Sweet Potato and Coconut Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
this soup is perfect! i didn't change a thing. i tried it before adding the sesame oil, it definitely makes a difference. i put it in bowls then added a drizzle on top. im beginning to like cilantro, so i chopped that real small and sprinkled it in each bowl. cant wait to eat more tomorrow!

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
perfect. i asked the butcher for flank steak, it was labeled only 'steak boneless' but it was the best steak i've ever had. the marinade was great, salsa, and relish. we made it in stages on a sunday.. first day on the grill this season. thanks!

Dump Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
very easy to make.. i didn't want to use 5 eggs (and we didn't need that many brownies), so i cut the recipe in half and only used 2 eggs. they're good, but not the best ever.

Sour Cream Banana Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2008
im thrilled that this recipe only called for 8 tablespoons of sugar compared to the 2-3 cups i was seeing in other banana bread recipes. i also didn't have to have 3+ overripe bananas laying around. the flavor came out perfect, and the cake is moist. i dont have a bundt pan so i baked it in a 8x8 pan (which i forgot to grease), it only took 20 min. to bake at 350, and it didn't stick to the pan. thanks!

Asian Roll Lettuce Wrap

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
absolutely wonderful! try out all of veggies (even if you think you dont like them) they all go really well together. the sauce is perfect! only downfall... we picked the wrong kind of lettuce, so the wraps tore a bit. we didn't use the skewers, just broiled the turkey ovals.

Peanut Butter Cookies IX

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
my husband of six months asked if i could make a "peanut butter chocolate chip oatmeal raisin cookie", then smiled really big, thinking that it couldnt be done. i said yeah, i think i can do that. and he got super excited. so i looked and looked for recipes, and this is the one i went with.. doing half raisins and half chocolate chips. its definitely a good enough balance that you can taste whatever cookie you want it to be.. oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, or peanut butter... but then again it all goes so well together. he told me i can make these any time.. his band loved them too. (i didn't pack the 3/4 C brown sugar, to cut back a bit.)

Cheesiest Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2005
i've made this soup at least three times now. instead of pureeing the potatoes i mash them somewhat in the pot with a potato masher. also, i add 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup milk instead of the heavy cream. this soup is excellant!
