Classic Minestrone

My husband, being full bred Italian claims this is one of the best Minestrone soups he has had the pleasure eating. I used lots of fresh ground mixed peppers and ditalini in place of the elbow noodles. Bravo!~

Penne a la Vodka II

This recipe is great...so nice to be able to cook up a yummy sauce without alot of prep time! Wonderful in a pinch and your unexpecting guests will think you were cooking for hours *grin*

Flaky Crescent Mushroom Turnovers

We were not overly impressed with this recipe although the flavor was good... the size of each of the eight servings were far bigger then we wanted to serve as an appetizer so we cut each triangle in half after cooking thus giving us 16 servings instead of the original 8.

Marinated Mushrooms with Blue Cheese

We really enjoyed this recipe...we made a second batch and added pitted black olives and a little roasted red peppers, served on the side with a sandwich it was yummy!

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

First time I ever made peanut brittle...any who tasted it said it was yummy. This was a welcome addition to our traditional collection of holiday treats as it was so simple and the recipe took little time to prepare.

Honey's Butter Cake

Let me tell u all....I made this cake, we ate 1/2 of it all on a Sunday...had to get the rest out of the house or I'd have eaten the rest alone! Sent it to work with my husband and today being Thursday all his co-workers are STILL raving about it...it's a "keeper"!!!
