Salisbury Steak
Yes this is very good. I made a few changes to it because I didnt have exactly what the recipe called for.I used cornstArch instead of flour. Dried onion soup mix instead of canned. And I didnt add salt because of the high sodium content of the soup. The patties did fall apart though. I didnt use my nonstick fry pan.next time I will use the nonstick frypan. Served it with mashed potatoes. I will be makin this again. Glad I found another good ground meat recipe to use my big bags of ground meat I buy.

Grandmother's Pound Cake II
made this cake for the husbands birthday. he loved it. it is a REAL POUND CAKE. its dense, moist, buttery, and not too sweet. just what i was looking for. i looked at quite a few recipes b4 i found this one and as soon as i saw baking powder in the other recipes i moved on. i did add vanilla to it bcuz thats what he wanted. but im sure u can add whatever flavor u like or none at all. here are a few hints if ur makin this 4 the first time. 1- cream butter and sugar at least 5 minutes (until it turns white in color). then add the milk and flavoring and mix again-2 add egg 1 at a time and mix just until yoke is gone. do not over beat.3 add flour half cup at a time just until blended through. once the flour is mixed through immediately stop mixing it, it is finished. i baked mine in a bundt pan at 350 for 45 minutes and it was done. u might want to start checking yours after 40 min. as soon as its done take it out so it doesnt dry out
