My name is Emily and I am German born and raised. I have always used AllRecipes as a go to for new recipes, and have never been disappointed. I love trying new recipes and seeing what hidden talents I may possess. I love being in the kitchen and would rather be there than anywhere else in my house. I don't really have a favorite thing to cook, seeing as I love to cook everything. But I do enjoy baking breads and making desserts. I grew up eating mainly german foods and I always loved sitting in the kitchen with my mom or grandmother and watch how they made even the most simplest dish seem interesting and intricate. The woman in my family cook a meal everyday regardless if there is someone to eat it and even on the laziest days the food was always top quality. Cooking a good meal everyday was something that is so normal to me that I couldn't imagine how else I would do it Every new recipe I try that turns out is a triumph for me and seeing the faces on my loved ones after they take their first bites and their smiles light up their face is by far the best triumph I never look at a bad cooking experience as a tragedy but rather as a way to learn from my mistakes and try it again in a different way
