'Dressed' Cucumber
i have made my own version of this salad for my family. the addition of fresh parley, some onion and maybe more lime juice for a tangy flavour. shredding the cucumber finely may also help in the absorption of the flavors. Bye oh and ps. leaving the cucumber until it turns soft: it has something to do with osmosis. i'm 14 so i'm not a pro but i'm barbadian so i hope i helped
