Great! I have used whatever citrus fruit I have around...oranges, lemon, lime...my favorite is grapefruit. Try it! :)

Zippy Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
Very tasty..had a very nice flavor. To save a little time, I boiled the corn for 3 minutes, spread the mixture on it, wrapped it in foil, and grilled it for 10 minutes. (Otherwise it takes a long time on the grill to cook). Yum-O!

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
This was very tasty but I thought it could use some crunch, so I added some sliced almonds. Perfect!

Delish! I added some fresh lemon juice/peel because I love blueberry lemon muffins. They turned out great! Will definitely make again!

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2009
I like to add some diced avocado (right before serving). I have a similar recipe that I use for egg salad...just throw it all in a bowl, mix it up, toss it on some toasted squaw bread and add sliced avocado. Delish!

Chex® Muddy Buddies®

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
This is the most addictive snack!! I use crunchy peanut butter and always use extra...it gives the chex an extra thick coating and gives it a stonger peanut butter flavor. So good!

Delish! Because this is a quick and fairly easy recipe, I made 2 rolls and froze one for later. The cream cheese filling is incredible!

Tasty! I didn't have any horseradish and I wasn't sure how it was going to be..but it was still great! I look forward to trying it with it as well.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2008
Good Stuff! If you like chocolate, I would increase the chocolate chips to 2 cups because the top layer was a little on the thin side. Very tasty!

Savory Crescent Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
Added bacon and green chiles. Next time I will substitute the chicken for sausage. Tasty, but very rich.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
This was very good but VERY garlic-y (even for garlic lovers)...I would only use 1 tsp next time. Along with the sauce, I sauteed up some chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, bacon and threw in some peas and served it over ravioli. Husband gobbled it up. Very easy to make!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
This didn't last long at the party I brought it to. I used a small package of vanilla pudding and 1/2 of a small package of butterscotch pudding with just 2 cups of cold whole milk (instead of 3). Great flavor! Makes a lot!!!

Artichokes

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
I just put all the seasonings in the water (or sometimes I'll use chicken broth) with a little olive oil, garlic and onion powder, a bay leaf, lemon juice, a little parsley, a splash of white wine, and then steam them. I love dipping them in blue cheese dressing. Yum! My husband doensn't like to eat vegetables but he loves these!

Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
Excellent recipe..been making it for a long time. I like to add sour cream to the cream cheese mixture, 1 tsp of oregano and 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper, which gives it a little kick. Great with chips and toasted baguette slices.

I like to make this as a panini. And when I'm especially hungry, I'll add bacon to it. Yum!

Apple Ham Grilled Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
I think you definitely need to use a tart apple for this. Sometimes I use bacon in place of the ham and saute some red onion and add that to the mix. Versatile and tasty!

Apple-Banana Oatmeal

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
I thought this was great. It only takes 5 minutes to make and it's very healthy. The brown sugar isn't necessary because the fruit sweetens it naturally (I dumped some on the first time I made it and it was way too sweet). I do use a little extra cinnamon, golden raisins, I top it with more banana, and I like to use steel cut oats if I have a batch already made up. Thanks for a tasty and healthy breakfast!

Corn Chowder with Sausage

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
I cooked the sausage and then put all the ingredients in a crockpot and let it cook for a few hours. It was good, but to me it was a little bland. I ended up adding 2 cups of cheese, which really helped. I think next time I make this I will substitute ham for the sausage and add carrots and peas or green beans. It was good and hearty and great for dipping soft bread into.
