Easy to make and tasty. I did add some ground ginger to the marinade and served it over white rice.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2005
Wow this was good. I realized after I started making it that I ran out of milk..so I used cream instead and it was delicious! Very rich and creamy. Also, definitely add cinnamon and nutmeg. Tops it off!

Autumn Spice Ham Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2005
This was so good. I have made it many times. I agree with other users, cook the apples first. I cooked them in butter for about 10 minutes (until soft) then add everything else. I also used a little extra syrup so there was more sauce. Very good. You can also use thick sliced deli ham. Works great.

One word...Scrumptious! For extra blue cheese taste, try it smothered with Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing from this site. YUM!

Fresh Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2005
The nice thing about this recipe is that you can use whatever vegetables you have on hand..I used bell peppers and asparagus in place of the carrot, onion and mushrooms and it turned out great. The only thing I would change is add more sun dried tomatoes...they are so good that 2 is not enough! Tasted great!

Strawberry Dream Cake II

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2005
Excellent cake! For a great presentation, I melted semi sweet chocolate with a little shortening and drizzled it all over the top of the cake and then placed fresh whole strawberries on top.

Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2005
This was very good. I made one batch according to the recipe and the other batch I added chocolate chips to it and used vanilla frosting as opposed to cream cheese. I liked it better (I am a chocolate lover)! I also think the vanilla frosting tasted better than the cream cheese (unless you're using homemade!) Great recipe for parties.

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: May 31, 2005
YUM! This cake was great. Very rich. I did what some of the other users suggested and bought heath bar bits in the baking section, but I think next time I will actually buy the candy bar and chop it up into chunks. The bits didn't have chocolate on them and they were too small. I think the real thing is the best way to go! Also, I will make this again and try using different candy bars like snickers or caramellos. Definitely a keeper and a hit at parties!

Hot Corn Dip

Reviewed: May 4, 2005
This was pretty good but a little bland for me. Next time I would add some chipotle seasoning or something to give it a little kick.

Pina Colada III

YUM! I added some vanilla yogurt to this to make it more of a smoothie and we all wanted seconds! Good stuff! Also, you can substitute "Pina Colada Mix" for the coconut milk and sugar.

Beef Enchiladas II

These are good, but they are very simple. Personally I like things with a little more flavor so I added some spices and green chiles to the meat mixture. Very easy to prepare.

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: May 2, 2005
Awesome. I've made this several times and it's great as is...but I also use 1/2 prepared mustared and 1/2 dijon mustard to give it a little kick. It's great with lime juice as well.

This is a great dressing for a salad that has fruit and nuts in it. I substituted orange champagne vinegar for the white and it was a creamy orange dressing. YUM!

This is a great way to get your vegetables in. The combination of flavors turns out really well. Also, try adding a bit of red pepper for a little kick.
