Savory Slow Cooker Beef Tips

It had a nice flavor. I used Victoria Gourmet's Toasted Onion Herb Seasoning to replace the Lipton. Would probably cut the amount of "gravy" in half for my family of 3. Extra gravy would be great over mashed potatoes.

Nana's Squash Casserole

Very yummy and uses up the abundance of yellow squash. I made cornbread using Better Homes New Cookbook recipe so I did not add sugar. I would cut the butter in half next time and add 3 cups squash instead of 2.

Oatmeal Sourdough Rolls

Wow! Made this recipe just like it states except that I let them rise on the baking sheet for about 2 hours. Rolls reminded me of the ones from grade school when they were made from scratch.

Whiskey Steak

Creamy White Chili

Super yummy! Doubled the recipe and used 4 cups of roasted chicken. Also only added 1 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup whipping cream. Might try white corn in it next time. Only had couple of bowls left over for my family of 3.

Penne Rosa with Parmesan Crusted Chicken

WOW! So yummy. I made a homemade alfredo sauce (6 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1 minced shallot, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper). I would recommend slicing the chicken breast before coating and using portabello mushrooms. I sauteed the fresh spinach in a little olive oil. ENJOY!
