Honey-Mustard Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2012
Yummy! I just made a double batch of this for a family reunion and it was a HUGE hit. I had people asking what my secret ingredient was (honey mustard puts this macaroni salad above all the rest.) I sent this recipe out to a bunch of family and friends after our reunion. Thanks so much for posting it!

Nina's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
Sometimes simple recipes are better, as I found with this one. Few ingredients required, all of which I had on hand. I used fresh dill and cucumbers from the local farmer's market. I made this about a half an hour before serving, which I think helped bring out the flavor of the dill and onion. I served this as a side with chicken grilled with greek seasoning and pita bread and loved it.

Peanut Butter Potato Candy

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
My little nephew loved this candy and I loved the taste and the fact that it was super easy to make. I took the advice of another reviewer and made this with natural peanut butter, which was perfect with the sweet powdered sugar/potato layer.

Klupskies (Polish Burgers)

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
I made these with lean 85/15ground beef and red onion. The flavor from the onion and green pepper was wonderful. The bread seems to help keep the burgers moist, and it's not too much bread, even when putting the burgers on buns. I had leftovers and when I reheated a for lunch, it was still very moist and the flavor was even better the next day.

Special Italian Easter Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
I didn't have a springform pan, so I made this in a rectangular non-stick pan. It was incredible and fed my whole family of 5, with leftovers. Everyone raved about it and asked when I was going to make it again. I did brush the top with olive oil and sprinkled it with parmesan instead of doing the egg wash.

Lime and Tequila Infused Strawberries

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
In a word...Amazing! These turned out perfect. I made them for a cookout over the weekend and actually had to make a second batch because my friends and family gobbled up the first bowl I made so quickly. I had angel food cake, sponge cake dessert cups, and Cool Whip to make Strawberry Shortcakes with these strawberries. These were not too tart or sweet, the balance was perfect. I also used good tequila for the recipe, so the flavor was mild and smooth. I'm making these again for the 4th of July cookout we are having, but I think that I will triple the recipe, since we didn't have leftovers this time around.
