I made a double batch and made it exactly as written. My problem is that I hate cloves so this kind of made me feel a little queasy. But my husband loved it only after he added a lot more rum. At one point I mixed in some cool whip and it was delicious and extra creamy and took away some of the strong clove taste.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
I made this a few days ago. This is an excellent recipe without a lot of fuss. I got rave reviews. I did make two slight changes. I used more chili seasoning then the recipe called for and I added a cube of chipolte seasoning. Other than that, I followed the recipe and this will be my go to recipe from now on. One thing I did notice was I thought my beef tasted a little bland so next time I think I will add some seasoning to the beef while browning. By the way, I made a double batch and it fed seven people with no leftovers.

Chicken Curry I
This was excellent. I just made this tonight. I ran out of curry powder so I only used about 1 tablespoon and I didn't have ground ginger so I had to use fresh. I also used Thai Coconut Curry Chicken broth instead of water. After it was all done I thickened it and served it over white rice that I also cooked with the Thai Coconut Curry broth instead of water. So so good.
