Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
I haven't had tuna casserole in probably 15 years. This was good. I did read the reviews of others. I used 16 ounce of egg noodles, 18 ounce tuna, used 40 ounce of cream soup, and added 1 cup of milk. I believe next time, I will not add the chips to the top. THANK U for sharing, It's a keeper.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
I've made this a few times. I never would of guessed that my family, especially my picky girl would know the difference between this and the bottle sauce. They did. I now, can no longer use bottle sauce. When I do, I can expect some complaints. This is a recipe going into my recipe book. Thanks for sharing.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
I doubled the recipe, except the brown sugar, just used 1/2. Also, used 1/2 of the milk. Used dry onion soup mix, instead of onions. I used bread instead of crackers. I added about 4 splashes of Worcestershire Sauce to the mix. Put 4 more splashes on top of the meatloaf, topping that with brown sugar and ketchup. Turned out great. Hubby even ate 1/2 of the loaf, before we all went to bed, and my picky son, liked it. Hubby told me to keep this recipe. Thank you, for sharing.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
Thank YOU, Grandma Ople. I know she hears me. I like some of the others, added cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. I got a double deep dish pie crust, and used the top to add the lattice over pie. I just rolled it out, cut it, and placed it on top. I used 6 apples, but will use 8 next time. When do you think Grandma Ople started to use her recipe. I'd like to add this to my cookbook with some type of history to it. THANK U, for sharing it. 8)

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
I was eager to try this out, as it would be the first time we ever ate chocolate chip pancakes. I followed the recipe, and mine weren't all that great. In fact my 2 kids, and their friend, asked I could make regular pancakes. Must of done something wrong, 'cause a lot of members gave it high ratings.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
Excellent recipe. I would next time, add a little sauce to the lightly greased pans. Because, the tortillas baked a little hard on the bottom. Also, next time, I will place foil on top and bake for 20 minutes, and take it off during the last 10 minutes. A little of the cheese became hard, not bubbly. Thank you, for sharing.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2007
I love this recipe. It's healthy, without the fat. I added garlic salt, and less salt. Didn't even chop the jalapeno, left it whole. When beans were done, I took out the onion and jalapeno. Seperated the beans and liquid. Mashed the beans, while adding the liquid. Loved it. Hubby says the beans had a punch. It's a keeper. Thank you for sharing.

Chesscakes

Made this for a potluck, at work. None, leftover. It was a hit. I had used 2 different type of preserves, and topped with frosting. I didin't have a round cookie cutter, so I just used one of my drinking cup, that did the job. Thank you, adding this one to my recipe bool.
