Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2013
This was excellent (we took advice from other comments and only used 1 cup of sugar... anything more and it would have been too sweet!)! Made for a party my husband and I hosted and we got many rave reviews for it. One batch (the recipe includes two batches) was perfect for the 20 people we had, and we still have some saved for an upcoming event!

Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
I've made this several times now and it is DELICIOUS, definitely a "10". This is my favorite chicken dish. I followed the instructions exactly and it turned out perfect. The second time I pulsed the pecans a little longer in the food processor until they came out almost like a paste (do not not this). Still came out great... but you want the pecan finely chopped, don't over do it in a processor.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
We are fans! Delicious and easy to modify. I made one batch like the recipe but left the chilies out (I'm not really into the texture chilis) but added chilli powder and some cajun seasoning to give it some kick (because I love the flavor). The other half of the batch I put in green chilis for my boyfriend, and topped with enchilada sauce just to have some options. Both came out great!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
This was fantastic! Follow the recipe exactly to get the best banana pudding you've ever tasted. YUM! I did use Mexican vanilla as I feel it tastes much better than typical brands at the grocery store.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
Very good, I did use a little less sugar and it came out just right (I used a 1/2 cup but filled it up until maybe a quarter inch below the top).

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2013
This was so great, and easy too! We didn't include the thyme because we didn't have it and didn't really want it anyway. We bought little mini slider buns and made sandwiches.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
These were very good, but seemed like they needed a little extra kick. I did add some cream cheese as other people recommended, but it still seemed to be missing something. I cooked them for 25 minutes, but I would have gone longer in retrospect, maybe 30-35 minutes.

Cashew Chicken I

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
The chicken was delicious and super easy to make, but I'd give this a 4.5 if I could... it just seemed like it needed an extra touch. We have some key lime mustard that I would have tried with it if only I had remembered. Thinking about making a key lime sauce for next time (there will definitely be a next time!).

Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
These were very good, but the bottoms got a little soggy. I tried putting the leftover breading on the bottom of the baking pan and it didn't help. Next time I will put foil on the pan and put them straight on the foil. I will also add more sage, more lemon zest, more parmesan, and a little less bread crumbs next time.
