Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
Great, easy recipe. Everyone gobbled it up! I did like others and used a less expensive piece of pork. Definitely making again! My mom asked for the recipe because my brother loved it too and he is the pickiest person ever!

Waffles II

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
Great recipe! I was out of the box stuff that I normally use and my kiddos wanted waffles. I found this and luckily had everything on hand. Super easy! It's a great base recipe to add other things to. My kids gobbled these up. Can't wait to play around with this recipe and see what kinds of things we can come up with! The first request was banana waffles.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2005
WONDERFUL! I made this for our neighbor Memorial Day block party. Everyone loved it. Even my husband, who hates pasta salad, tried it. I'm pregnant right now and he knew how proud I was of it so I think out of sympathy for me and being scared of pregnant hormones, he tried it. He went back for seconds and thirds of it. I do use colored pasta for some fun. It was so good! I can't wait for another get together to make it again! Everyone was asking for the recipe but I wasn't into sharing that day. It was so easy to make and a lot of fun (I love cooking!) so I want to be able to bring this to everything!

Dry Rub for Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2004
Great rub. Works great on ribs! I took out the paprika because my husband is a wimp and thinks paprika makes it too spicy. Still wonderful.

Cheese and Bacon Potato Rounds

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2004
Great recipe. I added some garlic powder to the potatoes while before I put them into bake. I added some chopped onions and fried them up with the green peppers before adding them to the potatoes. It was really good. My husband is picky about the way his potatoes are cooked and he really enjoyed this. Will definitely do this one again!

Cheesy Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2004
Great recipe. My husband loved this as did my children. I just added some things to my spaghetti sauce to make it like my hubbie does ~ 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and a few other spices. They asked for it for dinner again the next day!

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2004
Wonderful. My husband loved this. He said my usual lasagna is good but this was better. He asked that next time I make lasagna, to make it this way. Absolutely easy and wonderful. I too used the no boil noodles but other than that, did everything the same. It was great!

I agree with everyone else as well. The cookies are good but forget the cookie press.

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2003
My family loved this. My three kids (ages 7, 4, and 2) ate this up and asked for it again the next night. Quick and easy! I was skeptical about the mayo too but my hubbie is a mayo fanatic so I said what the heck ~ wonderful!!! He asked me to just make a plate of skins next time!

My husband loves this, although he likes the onions a little fried up. It's so simple to make. He just eats it up with tortilla chips. Wonderful!

Fresh Herb Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2003
These were absolutely wonderful. I was a little intimidated making them since I am more of "out of the can" kind of cooker. But I tried them out for Thanksgiving and they were a hit. I love bread and these are great. I am going to make them again soon just for me to munch on!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2003
Great switch from the kind with mushroom soup. I'm not big on mushroom soup and have never really enjoyed Green Bean Casserole. This year was the first year I really enjoyed it. My family loved it too. Instead of the crackers, I used the french fried onions though. Great!
