Cinnamon Ice Cream

This ice cream is fantastic! Used half sugar and half splenda. Also used egg beaters. My kids love it. Going out to get waffle cones now.

Rum-Pineapple Pound Cake

This cake came out great, though I did not use the rum glaze. I made a basic powdered sugar glaze with almond extract. Everyone loved it. And I will make it again using different flavored cake mixes.

Buttermilk Pancakes I

These were good but I felt like they could have been fluffier. I added almond extract. My kids loved the sweet taste of the pancakes. The pancakes did make bubbles as they cooked. I let the batter sit on the counter while I prepared the rest of breakfast. I may make again but will look for other recipes.

Hummingbird Cake III

This cake is great! My husband usually goes down to the local cafe to buy a slice and he said this cake was better than theirs.I made 2 nine inch layers. I only slightly drained the pineapple. The cake is dense but moist.

Simple, Classic Chicken Potpie

This was quick and very tasty. I didn't have onions or celery so I skipped that step all together. I also did not have any wine and it still was great. Used a top and bottom crust. Will make again, soon!

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

I made 2 batches and it is wonderful.Like others have said reaching 300 degrees is a must.I thought I burned the first batch by the smell but after it hardened my children & I could not stop eating it.I tried the microwave recipe from this site and it never hardened.

Lemon Wow Cake

I made this cake for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it.I used lemon cake mix and make a glaze with powdered sugar and lemon juice concentrate. I also lined the pan with sugar instead of flour.
