Marzetti® Barbecue Slaw

Reviewed: May 27, 2006
This is a tasty and very easy recipe. I used the pre-shredded/cut cabbage with carrots already in it that comes in the bag; all I had to do was chop some peppers and onions. I liked munching on this with blue tortilla chips. Thanks.

No Bakes

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2005
YUMMY comfort food! When I was in high school in little Kingsport, Tennessee, the cafeteria ladies at the high school would make these for us and call them "Cow Patties". LOL! I have never made these before, today was my first attempt. These came out beautifully! The only thing that I did different was add a shake of salt to the oat mixture. Thanks for the post and the memories!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
Wow! These were wonderful! Made these tonight and 1/4 of them are already gone! Yummy! I used 3/4 cup of creamy peanut butter and 1/4 cup of crunchy peanut butter. I added 1 tsp of vanilla. I rounded my flour up to approximately 1 and 3/4 cup. For the shortening I used butter flavored shortening. Thanks for a yummy and fun recipe!

Awesome Bow Tie Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2005
I can't believe that I have never rated this. I LOVE this! Lots of times I use regular onion and not the green onion. We devour this and like to add cooked, sliced chicken breasts for a complete meal. Sometimes I add spinach leaves in with this. Total yum food for me. Oh yea, we always add garlic or garlic powder.

Oustanding! Used garlic from the jar and Crown Royal Bourbon Whiskey. Used mesquite liquid smoke just because hubby is from Texas :-) I believe I could bottle and sell this stuff and become a millionaire!

Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2005
I made this for hubby today as a surprise since he has taken such good care of me while I have been sick. This set up really, really well and to be so easy to put together it turned out wonderfully! I think it actually rates a 4.5 in taste but because of ease it rates a 5. I would not hesitate to take this to any event. Thank you for the post! Oh, like a previous reviewer, my pie was done in 50 minutes; be careful to watch yours.

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2005
Wow, this is delicious! I scaled this down to my leftover 1.5 baked potatoes. I made this for my 16 year old that can eat potato soup even if it is 100 degrees outside. I used 2% milk, bacon bits from the bag and reduced fat sour cream. Thanks for the post. I will make this all winter long I am sure!

Classy Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
*****Note: The recipe was supposed to say 1/2 cup of sour cream. I have asked Allrecipes to revise the recipe. Also, I use reduced fat and sodium soup when I make this up; adjust salt to suit your own personal taste. Happy Cooking! RadiatingMom/Breeze

Good Ol' Alabama Sweet Tea

Sweet tea is like water to me; a must have to live. We have a patch of mint that grows in my yard and I love to throw a cutting in the pitcher. Yum!

Crisp Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2005
These were really good. I rate these a 4.5 so I rounded up! I doubled the recipe and changed the oatmeal to a total of 2 cups of oatmeal. I used 1 cup of craisins and did not use coconut or chocolate chips. I used butter instead of shortening. These were crispy and chewy at the same time, interesting texture. Thanks for the post.

Cheese Lover's Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2005
Wow! This is Delicious! The only change that I made was to use Italian bread crumbs. This definitely reminds you of Chicken Parmesan. I used "Free" and 2% Milk" cheese, trying to cut down on the fat. Thanks for the post.

Classic Taco Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2005
Actually, the hubby made this one for us. Sorry Lawry's, but we used homemade Taco Seasoning I from this site. We browned the meat with a chopped onion. We used the bagged shredded lettuce. He placed this in formed taco shells for us. We then could build our taco salad as we wanted with the ingredients listed. Also, we used Fat Free Shredded Cheese and had Fat Free Sour Cream. Yum!!

Quick Asian Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2005
Wow! This is really delicious! I can't get over just how quick and easy this is! I only have one suggestion, and that is to crush the ramen noodles in their package prior to adding to the pot. I didn't and ended up having to deal with long, long strings of noodles that made eating this soup quite comical! This is gonna be a favorite this winter I can tell. I always keep frozen containers of browned meat, onion and garlic - this will be a snap to prepare!
