Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
Wow~this is really delicious! Make sure to use unsalted butter as this is still plenty salty. Use a good quality beef broth and you can't go wrong with this recipe! MMmmm, my mouth is watering writing this! Thank you.

Zeke's Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2006
WHOA!!!! This was delicious! I added dried cilantro, omitted the avocado and halved the recipe. Added shredded cheddar cheese at serving. This might be a touch watery or liquidy but I am not complaining. I do think adding black beans and maybe a little corn would be a nice touch. This is out of this world! Thank you.

Hershey's ® Gridiron Cake

Absolutely Darling Idea - Thank You! Since we are rooting for the Steelers it was so simple to do the Black and Gold theme. We just used our own cake mix and did our own thing on the candy pieces. I have to confess, I didn't attempt the goal posts! Thanks for the 5 star idea!

This stuff is addicting. I found myself starting with apples, then moving onto graham crackers, then pretzels, then just anything I could find to dip in this stuff! It's great! Thank you.

New York Style Chili Dogs

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
Excellent. I can't believe that this is a recipe on here! I do have to say one thing, there is just something about a hot dog bought from a NY street vendor that is better than any hot dog than I can make at home. Thank you.

Walk Around FRITOS® Chili Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
This is excellent. I can't tell you how many outdoor get togethers (church, school, etc.) that we have made this. It is easy to buy pre-chopped bags of frozen onions and just heat up the chili over a campfire and fill the individual Frito bags. I also like to add a dollop of sour cream. Thank you.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2006
Yum! In case you are wondering, a regular box of saltine crackers has approximately 36 crackers in a sleeve. I put all 36 crackers from the sleeve into my food processor and ground them fine. I added this, the flakes, flour, 1 T of seasoning salt, 1 tsp of pepper, 1 tsp of parsley, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp paprika. I pounded the chicken breasts between two pieces of wax paper on my cutting board, dredged the chicken in 2 beaten eggs and then coated them with the cracker mixture. I placed them in a 13x9 glass dish and baked for 45 minutes. I then melted one stick of butter and poured over the chicken breasts and baked for an additional 5 minutes. We like our chicken extra done. This had a great taste and texture without the bad for you frying! Thank you. Note: This chicken tastes delicious leftover cold the next day!!
