Fruited Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This is a delicious fru-fru chicken salad! I used almonds instead and omitted the apple. I used craisins instead of raisins. This was a hit! Thanks for the post.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
We didn't care for this one very much. I thought it was dry and not very flavorful. With the tweaks that the other reviewers mention I think you can get this up to a 4 star. Thanks for the post.

Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
Well, I am being generous with a 4 as I had to really tweak this recipe. I loved using both sour cream and mayo, however, I cut the macaroni to half and I still had to add more mayo/sour cream. I cannot imagine using the full 16 oz of macaroni! I omitted the olives and carrots. Thanks for the post.

Cheesy Tuna Melts

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This was so good, quick and easy. I added a shake of ground black pepper and some finely chopped onion. I served on toast instead of muffins. Thanks for the post.

Deliciously sinful! I took this to a baby shower at work and it was devoured! I omitted the nuts but otherwise made to recipe. I too served with graham sticks. Thanks for the post.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

This delivered just as promised, quick and easy. I jazzed it up a bit by adding garlic and a little white wine. Thanks for the post.

Hot Bean Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This is delicious! Of course it isn't much to look at but it is so good!! I like to use half the cheese in the mixture and then the other half on top. Definitely use sturdy chips with this one. Thanks for the post.

Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
Delicious. I used both garlic powder but also minced garlic from the jar. I omitted the called for vegetables and put peas in. I had to keep adding milk and adding milk but it eventually turned out just fine. Thanks for the post.

Quick and Easy Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
Very good. I made these for Christmas morning. I used vanilla pudding instead of butterscotch and omitted the walnuts. This was very, very good but my gang wanted real cinnamon rolls instead. With the use of the Rhodes rolls this could not have been easier! Thanks for the post.

Brown Rice Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This is delicious! I have been making a lot of soups and this was one of our favorites. I used leftover turkey breast and leftover spanish rice. I added a can of petite diced tomatoes with juice. Excellent. Thanks for the post.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
Just wonderful! I omitted the raisins and otherwise made exactly to recipe. Using airbake cookie sheets I baked them for 10 minutes, using regular cookie sheets I baked them for 9 minutes. I used parchment paper. Thanks for the post.

Sweet Corn Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This is so yummy. My husband says that this reminds him of his grandmother's sweet cornbread. I did up the sugar to a heaping 1/2 cup. This is really good and is a cross between corn bread and a corn bread cake. Thanks for the post.

I made the cake but not the frosting. Outstanding! I didn't change a thing and really don't have any review to say other than Mmmmm! Thanks for the post.

Calico Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
Campfire memories. I can't stand lima beans so I used two cans of pork n beans. I also squirted in some yellow mustard, about a half a cup of ketchup and 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce. Always have to serve with cornbread. Thanks for the post.

Baked Cheddar Bacon Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This is excellent and I have to make myself stop eating this. I add a bit of ground black pepper and garlic powder. I definitely cut this recipe in half. Thanks for posting this gem.

Italian Beef Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This was good, but not the best that I have ever had. I thought that this recipe could have been enhanced by using beef broth instead of the water and also by placing onions and peppers on top. It is super easy to do this in a slow cooker. Thanks for the post.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This is really good. My store had a sale on cream cheese and strawberries so would could resist? I did use this on a bagel, but found myself searching for other things to dip in this as the day went on. Thanks for the post.

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
As written the recipe is a little lacking. I marinated the shrimp along the lines of the Grilled Marinated Shrimp recipe on this site (seasoning salt, oregano, lemon juice, olive oil, etc.), then I used very thin bacon and cut that in half. I placed these on a baking sheet and sprinkled a little bit of light brown sugar over the top and broiled. Hubby loved these! If the bacon was thicker I would have had to pre-cook it. This is a great recipe to tinker with. Thanks for the post!

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2006
To-Die-For!! This is unbelievably delicious! I used marinated artichoke hearts from the jar and the thawed, frozen spinach; however, I can't wait until the spinach ban lifts so that I can try this with fresh baby spinach. I am going to recommend this to my Cooking Friends for our monthly dinner party. Wow! Thanks.
