Chocolate Cut Out Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2013
I received a KitchenAid Mixer for Christmas, and this was the first recipe I tried! So delicious, everyone raved about them. Topped half with buttercream frosting, and the other half plain. So good either way! Will definitely make again!

Stuffed Jack-O-Lantern Bell Peppers

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2012
This recipe was so easy to put together, a lot of fun to serve, and so tasty! I used chili garlic sauce, and will probably use a little less next time because it was too spicy for some my guests. I also substituted the bread for 1 cup of rice and a handful of panko bread crumbs. I used only 4 peppers and molded my remaining stuffing into the shape of rat, which looked quite creepy with some noodle whiskers and cheerio eyes.

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Best crust I've had. This recipe yielded exactly three single-crusts, and was easily frozen in between uses.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2013
This recipe was delicious, I loved the homemade Teriyaki glaze. Did not need to bake the full hour, and tasted perfect no changes to the the recipe. Will try again with boneless, skinless chicken in the future!

Crunchy Oven Fried Tilapia

Just moved in to the new apartment, and this meal was a huge hit despite the lack of groceries and lack of counter space! Will definitely make this again, we loved how healthy and light the breading was!

World's Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2014
Absolutely delicious! I added a tsp of celery seed as advised from previous reviewers, and substituted yellow mustard for Dijon. Next time I would definitely cut back on the sugar, it was a little too sweet for my liking, but appeased the taste buds of my Southern friends. Great recipe for the books.

Made for my father's birthday, so good! The only thing I changed was using walnuts, and it was wonderful!

Delicious Spinach and Turkey Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2013
The flavor of this dish was absolutely fantastic and light. The lasagna itself was quite runny, but I chalk that up to me using canned leaf spinach instead of fresh. Also using one 13oz can of spinach was more than enough roughage, I wouldn't add the full amount the recipe called for. Also more ricotta cheese is necessary as I ran out on the last layer. Tastes fantastic with zucchini squash added into the sauce and meat layer. I will definitely make this again with some fresh spinach, but I have to finish all the frozen leftovers first!
