Spicy Chicken and Sweet Potato Stew

Reviewed: May 12, 2015
I followed this recipe nearly to a T and it was real, real delicious. The only substitutions I made were that I swapped out red beans for kidney beans and can of corn for frozen (because that's what I had on hand). There was a decent amount of prep work involved, but nothing too crazy. I boiled the cubes of chicken first, then pulled them apart, which I think just works better in a stew. Also, my 11 month old loved this stuff. I threw some in the food processor and he ate it up. Will definitely make this again. +Recipe Box

Easy Corn Chowder II

Reviewed: May 30, 2012
Awesome. T'was my first time making any type of chowder and it was nice! The recipe is simple and the taste was great! I added carrots and extra potato. I think this recipe is a great base that you can add things to or not and it's just as good.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2013
The only thing that I did differently is I sauteed the onions before I added the flour. Oh, and I also added some fried onions to the top because they're delicious and I felt like I needed more onion flavor. This turned out really great, though. Made it for T-Day and it went quick!

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2013
The spices in this recipe are great. I added a bit more cayenne and a dash of onion powder, too. Also, I did as other reviewers suggested, to cook the onions with the meat, to which I added 3 cloves of garlic. (I add garlic to everything) This recipe is a perfect base or as is. Dee-lish!

Sesame Asian Tofu Stir-Fry

Reviewed: May 24, 2012
I just made this tonight and it was a hit. After reading the reviews, I used 4 tbs of vegetable oil instead of six and substituted peanut oil for sesame oil. The sauce was a bit thin, but I didn't mind that. Good recipe. Easy. (I'm a novice!!)

Company Couscous

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2012
Good, easy to make. I did some substitutions on it and it turned out good. My lady wasn't a huge fan of couscous, but I love it and I have plenty of leftovers. My only complaint is that it was a bit dry, but I can fix that by adding more broth (which I subbed for water).
