Oatmeal Craisin Cookies
I was really worried about the amount of dry ingredients. I used my hands to mix in the cranberries and make sure the dry ingredients were mixed well. I used all cranberries and added a 1/4 tsp fresh ground nutmeg. They baked up wonderfully! I only gave it 4 stars because they were very sweet.

Irish Pound Cake
I give this 5 stars for taste! I wouldn't call this a pound cake though. It's too light. I made this in a sheet pan so I could cut it into bite size pieces for a chocolate fountain so maybe that's why it was too light. Thanks for sharing.

Am I the only one who had to use a lot more flour? It is cold and dry here and I used over 6 cups of flour. My mother-in-law taught me how to make these. Her mother came to the US from Poland through Germany and to Ellis Island when she was 4. I thought I'd try a different recipe but I'll go back to hers. Maybe the author meant 2 sticks of butter not 2 cups.
