Easy and inexpensive smoothie! I didn't have nutmeg, so I used cinnamon and it was tasty. Added some ice cubes to thicken. The 4yr old loved it. Great way to get the kids to eat healthy!

I've been making guacamole with a very similar recipe for years with rave reviews! I make sure to remove the tomato insides...reduces liquid amount in mixture. Also, I use green onions. I find that taste is more to my liking. Finally, I use a guacamole seasoning mix. It really adds some flavor to the dip, but I'm sure enough salt would do the trick as well. Cilantro is really the secret to this guacamole!

Yummy! I substituted the milk with plain/nonfat yogurt. It was good, but very thick. Next time I'll try doing half yogurt/half milk.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Instead of milk, I used nonfat plain yogurt and 1/2 cup of juice (white grape since that's what I had at home but apple works fine too) and I omitted the sugar. Was good and kept well overnight in the fridge.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Outstanding! Made this for the first time last week and everyone loved it! I added an extra cup of zucchini (I was too lazy to wrap it up) and it was very moist. This recipe seems like a great base to add other flavors other than zucchini too. My 4 year old helped make this and had loads of fun. It also was a good way to get him interested in eating zucchini :)
