Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2005
i read all the thing about cooking tiem/temperature and didn't know what to expect...well it was ok with me, maybe the bottom is not so "cooked" but it is a good recipe, and original enough...the gaps on the top filled nicely: a five stars for us!

Secret Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2005
it really has to cook at least 10/15 min. more than stated; it sure tastes good and it's very easy. Too sweet for my taste, and not chocholatey as I expected (that's why a basically quick and good enough cake gets 4 stars from me...)

Carrot Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2004
I had another recipe for carrot cake, maybe more scrumptious really but with butter in it and so much greasier! with carrots and oil you even think it's definitely healty food...you can reduce the amount of oil and I had to do without the frosting but it turned out well all the same

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2004
really very good cookies, easy and simple but quite delicious. great recipe, the coffee has a nice taste you quite can't detect. I put milk chocolate chunks, my child said it's the thing, thank you!

Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake

really amazing recipe! I fell in love with it, it's terribly sinful, half a cheesecake half a turtle pie...serve it to sweettooths

this is a good cheesecake and easy to throw together; I really had chocolate chunks and not miniature chips but got rave reviews all the same

Deep-Dish Peach Custard Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2004
this is a very simple yet quick and good recipe to serve peaches fresh or canned (I had canned myself): you cut corners with condensed milk and nobody is the wiser...

Chocolate Float

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2004
it's quite simple, and very very sweet; in my opinion, not precisely a beauty: it came out as a cake, more or less, and only some indentations could remind you of dumplings...but my 6 year old and my hubby proclaimed it a hit, so.

Buttermilk Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2004
very easy, quick and good result: difficult to say what's really in it. also a good way to use up buttermilk or else: I tried also with a peach yogurth container, and it came out pretty well indeed.

this is very simple but good. I hadn't a vanilla pudding, so I used up a chocolate pudding mix and it has come out lovely all the same...

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2004
it's good enough and light and fresh, but it gets 4 stars because pretty it isn't... and I had a bigger mountain of fruit in the middle but it tended to burn if I left it in the oven more hoping it would spread evenly...

good cake, very rich indeed. the result is not completely worth the calories. you can also try it without sauce but putting candied fruit and raisins.
