Holy Hannah! These are wicked good! And, yes, be careful... they do tend to sneak up on you. I'm not as think as you drunk I am! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Tomato Basil Squares

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
Excellent! I used this with the grilled dough recipe on here and it was phenomenal. I doubled the recipe to make 2 pizzas and may work on decreasing the amount of mayo next time. It was not offensive or overpowering; just interested in seeing if we can decrease some of the fat. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!

Grill Dough

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
This is the best dough for grilling pizza! Perfect taste and texture - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I upped the sugar to 1 1/2 t. and it was just right for me. This was my base for Tomato Basil Squares, another great AR recipe. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Mexican Bean and Rice Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
Nice blend of flavors! Even with the jalapenos, I thought it needed some "oomph", so I kept doctoring it til I was happy with it. Great side dish! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Grilled Fish Tacos with Chipotle-Lime Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
I'd use the marinade again, but skip the rest. Unfortunately, I opted to use a sturdier fish to grill these on skewers - had never had cobia before and don't think I'll try it again. Marinade would be good with a milder fish, but one that's a little more firm than tilapia. Opted out of the sauce - too many flavors/spices winds up overpowering the main attraction. Thanks for letting me try.

Honey Oatmeal Bread II

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
This tastes wonderful! I mixed this all by hand using 1/2 AP and 1/2 WW, and added 3 T. vital wheat gluten. Oh, the aroma! I kneaded in an additional cup of flour. Will definitely be making this again; thank you for sharing the recipe!

No-Guilt Zesty Ranch Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2009
I've wanted to try this ever since it 'came on the scene' here at AR. I finally picked up the non fat plain yogurt that I was lacking and rushed home to whip this up. O....M....G....this is, well, I have no words for it as every time I take a taste, I immediately utter "mmmmm". I could hardly wait until it was chilled enough to sample and am already thinking this would be wonderful to dip my wraps in. BF came home and took a taste and loved it. It's phenomenal. I bow to you, queen Tat2! :) Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!

Portuguese Sweet Bread I

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
This is one of my favorite bread recipes on here. I mixed everything in my Kitchen Aid and baked in the oven. I didn't change a thing; this is perfect as is. I should have taken a picture...the loaf was beautiful - like ones you see in a bakery. Thanks for sharing this recipe - we'll be making this often!

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
Inspired by SunnyByrd's photo, I pulled this out of my recipe box and gave it a try tonight. I've collected so many recipes that some of the best ones (like this one) often get overlooked. This was absolutely wonderful - very easy to pull together and very filling. I would definitely serve this to my dinner guests. I followed SunnyByrd's lead and served this with shrimp over fettucine. Only change I made was to increase the garlic to 3 cloves. Simply scrumptious! Thank you so much for posting this recipe!

Bread Machine Pumpernickel Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Definitely deserves to be in my regular weekly bread making rotation! I followed the recommendations of B. Scott Andrews by reducing the amounts of caraway and cocoa and increasing the amount of yeast. (thank you!) I mixed in the bread machine and then shaped into a round loaf and let rise and baked in the oven. The crust is excellent! Very tasty...Looks great too! Thank you for posting this recipe!

Italian Bread II

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Pretty good - easy to throw together and have ready for dinner. Next time, I'll make one big loaf instead of dividing into 2. The smaller loaves went well with our dinner, but I would like a bigger loaf for sandwiches, etc. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Crusty Potato Bread

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
Excellent bread! I love how beautiful the dough is - so soft & smooth. I made this in my Kitchen Aid and baked in a loaf pan at 375 for 30 minutes. Thanks to the reviewers who suggested decreasing flour to 3 cups, increasing potato flakes to 3/4 cups and the water to 1 1/2 cups. Perfection! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Grilled Corn on the Cob

Meh...nothing special. I actually prefer grilling the corn with the husks removed. Too much involved with ho-hum results.

Garlic Onion Focaccia

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
Delish! We had this for a light dinner tonight and it hit the spot. I followed recipe exact but doubled the garlic. I was afraid it was going to be too dry, but once you add the cheese on top of the onions and it bakes, it's just right. I prebaked for 7 minutes, then added toppings and baked for the remaining 8. Thank you for sharing this recipe; we'll make this one again!

Ruby-Red Strawberry Sauce

Yummy! I served this over homemade vanilla ice cream for our Mother's Day dessert and it was the perfect accompaniment. I used orange juice instead of concentrate. Very easy and quick to make. Thank you sharing this recipe!

Savory Grilled Potatoes

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
Excellent recipe! Received rave reviews. Followed recipe exact but cut grilling time down to 20 minutes. Some of the potatoes remained soft while others had a nice crispy, crunchy coating (my favorite part!). So easy and incredibly tasty. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Baked Haddock

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
This was okay, but I'm doubtful that it will make a repeat performance on our dinner table. For the amount of haddock, the other ingredient amounts were overkill and wasteful. I could have gotten by with half the amount of milk and bread crumb mixture. The one plus came when I decided to grill instead of bake. That ensured a nice crunchy coating/crust; sprinkled with a bit of lemon juice added more flavor. Thank you for letting me try this recipe!

Cheese-Filled Coffee Cakes

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
My first venture into cheese danish and it was a huge success with this recipe! I agree with the reviewer who recommended that you place them on the baking sheet before filling because it's slightly tricky moving them once filled. I followed recipe exactly; there is no need for any variation/substitution. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!
