About this Cook
I am an Eight-teen Year old Female who loves to cook, i have been inventing, and cooking since i was about seven. my uncle is a chef of many cuisines he does just about everything you can with food, i have learnt much of my skill from him. strange as it may seem i do not eat many things, i do not eat seafood, and i do not like many baked goods, but i LOVE to make and create them and make things other people would enjoy even though i myself have little to no interest in eating it. everything i cook comes from my heart from the simplest of things to the hours of slavery in the kitchen. i also believe that appearance is a huge deal. if something does not look appetizing, i don't have much appetite for it. i like working with lots of colors and fun designs with everything i make, i want it to look pretty.
My favorite things to cook
i like to cook what ever i get in my hands =) haha! bakes goods, chicken, stir frys, indian, pasta, sauces, rice dishes, the list goes on and on
My favorite family cooking traditions
peanut butter balls at christmas time pumpkin cookies for fall grilled watermelon salad in summer turkey dinner with homemade stuffing at thanks giving, and probably what we always called "Christmas Meat" its a clove and spice marinated roast that always taste like christmas to us. its very good and most of all family Tradition! always floods with memory in every bite.
My cooking triumphs
most things i make. HAHAHA that sounds so bad but i am confident in my cooking ability. though no one always gets it bang on, i can say that most things have turned out well even with out a recipe... seeing as most things i invent as i go. =)
My cooking tragedies
forgetting about the fiddle heads on the stove... they didn't get crispy but they went terribly mushy and very brown...

Hash Brown Quiche
I do not eat any pig, not for any reason other then not my taste, so i left out the ham, i changed this a little bit, i use sage and celery salt mixed in with my hash and drizzle a small amount of butter, then bake till crisp, then i add a bit to my egg, i put a little red bell pepper, cottage cheese, cheddar, and spinach with some salt and pepper to taste, its AMAZING!!!
