About this Cook
I'm pretty young, but I'm ready to start cooking. I work at a daycare centre but only because I want to be a teacher and it's good experience. Also the only job I can get in Norway at the moment because I can only half speak Norwegian. Most parents want their kids to learn English at a young age here anyways, so it's okay. I'm a military brat so I've lived all over, nearly everywhere but Asia and Australia and New Zealand. Well, I've been to Afrika, does that count? Once. I really like cooking things like cake in a cup. My friend sent me this great recipe that got me started. I tweaked it a bit to my liking and it actually tasted good so I was pretty inspired. oh I'm also a vegetarian. Well I eat fish. I think you actually call that a pescotarian or some bs like that. Really I'm thinking of stopping eating fish, or animal products all together.
My favorite things to cook
brownies and other sweets. I do love a good tuna melt, too.
My cooking triumphs
I once stuffed a turkey a year ago at thanksgiving! I was happy I did it right and I didn't throw up when I put my hand in it's bum!
My cooking tragedies
I burn nearly everything because I get distracted so easily. Also my mom is afraid of letting me cook for her because she just found out that I cook like my grandma (meaning I replace things with stuff I shouldn't sometimes. I guess I'm a risk taker but sometimes it doesn't turn out well) Once I used Olive oil instead of vegetable oil or canola oil or whatever. I didn't know there was really a difference so I just put three tablespoons of that into a baked good. Also on top of that instead of using vanilla extract I used yellow food dye. Seriously, the bottles look exactly the same!!! Needless to say, it didn't turn out very well.

Best Brownies
These were good brownies. I made sure to read the bad reviews first so I would know what not to do. Apparently the frosting is a dud, and it's pretty redundant to add frosting to brownies anyways, so I left it out. Also I did not beat anything in, I more of stirred with a whisk and everything turned out great. I've had better brownies, but really I was not expecting them to be the absolute best anyways. They were just how I anticipated!
