Bean Soup

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
Wonderful soup! I substituted 3 Cups of beef broth for 3 Cups of the water. Also used two pork hocks in place of the ham bone because I didn't have one of those. Also put in 1/4 cup ketsup as suggested by one of the reviewers. We will make this again for sure!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
I made this last night and we really loved it. I did replace the golden mushroom soup with regular (reduced fat) mushroom soup and I will do that again next time as well. Also covered the pan after the first 15 minutes or so as the top was crusting without a cover. Pulled it off towards the end and stirred everything up. This was creamy and wonderful and the chicken fell apart. Also, I used three half chicken breasts as there were only two of us, but left the sauce ingredients the same. Plenty for the two of us and leftovers to reheat tomorrow night. Thanks for the recipe.

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
Wonderful recipe. As others suggested I used chicken broth rather than water. Also reduced the chili powder to about 1 teaspoon. Served with Beef Enciladas I from this site and got raves from my company. Also served refried beans, sliced avocados, tortilla chips with salsa and sour cream. Really fabulous plate of food!

Chutney Cracker Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
My friends loved this. Everyone asked for the recipe. I did think that the green onions were a bit overpowering, however, and will cut back on them a bit when I make it the next time.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
Oh so good and so easy! Like others I dredged in flour first, then egg, then crumbs, then all three again. Tender and really flavorful.

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2009
This tastes exactly like I remember my mother's lasagna tasting. I have been using ricotta my whole adult life as I thought that it was how lasagna should be made. But this is way better. I served for company tonight and most of them had three helpings. This is my lasagna from now on. Thank's so much for the recipe. I put it together the night before, by the way, and then baked as directed the night of the party. I think that helped the cheese layer to set up a bit. Yummy!

Really good. My guests loved it. I did cut the salt in half and used fresh thyme because I had it in my garden.

Tuscan Cream Cheese Spread

I loved it and so did my friends. Brought it to a party and there was none left to bring home. Also nice that you can make it ahead. Thanks, Hoffius. I will make this again.

Unbelievable Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
Very unusual method, but it works. Dough did not seem to rise much when on counter, but did rise while baking. Very different roll. Had the taste of a baking powder biscuit (don't know how with no baking powder) but the texture of a yeast roll. Very good. Will make again.

The Best Thai Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
Thank you Stephanie! This is out of this world. Didn't change a thing. Served it with "Thai Chicken Satay" from this site. Slathered the cooked satay with this sauce and sprinkled with chopped peanuts. Placed a small bowl of additional sauce on each plate for dipping. Oh my, so good! Also served "Asian Coconut Rice" and "Barbequed Pineapple", both from this site. Wonderful meal. Can't wait to make it again for visiting relatives this summer. Don't know what I would do without All Recipes!

Crispy Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2012
We liked this very much. I used Tilapia rather than Sole as that was the only fresh white fish that my grocery store had (small town). But it worked great. Will make this again for sure.

California Kabobs

Wonderful marinade. I marinated the meat and vegetables in different bags. Skewered the meat by itself and let my guests choose their own vegetables and skewer them. That way everyone got what they liked best.

Oatmeal Waffles

We had these for brunch yesterday and they were fabulous! Easy to make and so good. My husband was skeptical when he saw the oatmeal in the batter. But after eating them he told me that he hoped that I would make these again soon. We both loved them.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Really tasty. Be sure to line the baking pan with aluminum foil that has been sprayed with cooking spray, however, or you will be throwing away your pan afterwards.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Really good. I followed the recipe except skipped the plastic bag part (just mixed together in the pan) and did not broil at the end. Just sprinkled with grated cheese and baked for five more minutes. So Good!

Crunchy Tossed Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I made this last night and can't stop thinking about how good it was. I may make it again tonight. This will now be a family favorite! I do wish that the Nutritional info was given, however, as I fear this dressing is a calorie nightmare. I did use turkey bacon to cut back on the fat a bit and it tasted great in this recipe.
