Fresh Rhubarb Pie

This was wonderful! The pie tightened up nicely without running all over the plate. I don't like the flavor of tapioca in a fruit pie, so I was thrilled when the flour did the trick. And it tasted great!

Delicious Salmon

I make salmon all of the time, and this is one of the simplest and tastiest recipe I have tried yet! So moist and so tasty. I did grill it rather than broil it. Will make this many times again!

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

I followed the recipe exactly and used a candy thermometer. The candy part was really chewy. Just stuck to all of your teeth. I'm sure that I did something wrong, but I don't know what. I really love peanut brittle and was looking forward to enjoying this homemade version. Too bad!

Herb Roasted Pork

I don't think that it was the recipe's fault, but we couldn't eat this. The meat had a really weird, soft texture to it. The glaze made for a very pretty presentation, however. I guess that I would try it again on a different type of roast.

Ham and Split Pea Soup Recipe - A Great Soup

This was one of the best pea soups that I have ever made. I used two smoked ham hocks and got lots of tender meat off of them. Used a bit more liquid to cover them, so thickened the soup at the end with some dried potato flakes. Worked great. This will be my base recipe from here on.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

We won't be making this again. Perhaps I should have covered it while cooking. The onions were dried out and couldn't be eaten. The sauce was way to strong of wine, and I had reduced its amount and added beef stock in as well. Also, very salty. Probably from the gravy packet mix. Sorry. Did not care for this.

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe

OMG good!!! My husband said that I should make it once a week. There are only two of us, so I cut the recipe in half. I'm going to freeze the second half today and have the rest of first half tonight with different sides than last night. Can't wait!

Tatertot Casserole

Really good comfort food. I browned some onions with the ground beef (used ground chuck) and added garlic powder. Used low fat mushroom soup. Forgot to put in the cheese and my husband told me afterward that he never liked this with cheese when I made it before. Happy accident. Will make this again with these changes.

Baked Denver Omelet

Apres Ski French Toast

There was a seasoning in here that we both really did not like. Left an after taste for hours after eating. I think that it must have been the nutmet, although the only change that I made in the recipe was to cut the nutmeg in half (and to use Italian bread slices rather than multigrain because that's what I had). We won't be making this again. Sorry.

Six Week Bran Muffins

I have made many versions of this over the years and this is by far the best. Perfect texture on the inside and lightly crispy around the edges on the outside. Absolutely wonderful! I'm going to try with raisons or nuts next time, but really great just as written!
