Coconut Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2005
Yummy!!!! Love coconut cream pie and have never made it figured it would be too hard. This was great and for sure a keeper!!! I used 1 3.5 oz box of coconut cream pudding and 1 3.5 oz box of vanilla as suggested in a graham cracker pie crust. I used 2 3/4 cups of milk as that was what the box recommened for pudding pies. This was cheap and EASY and would not hesitate to serve to company. Already planning to send one to work with my husband.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2005
This was pretty good. My husband said, we could add this to the weekly rotation while i'll make it again will probably be a once a month or less thing. My daughter ate two bowls. She is a very finnicky eater. I only added one jar of spaghetti sauce and next time I think I"ll add a can of tomatoes in with the sauce.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
Heavenly!!! I fried my Pork chops after egging and dredging in flour cause just wasn't sure anyone would eat them if they looked diffrent. My daughter ate an entire pork chop without complaint. Ok that was new so this I would rate much higher than a 5 just for that alone. She kept dipping her meat into the sauce. This is a kid who doesn't dip in anything. Very yummy!!! Next time will use more apples. I doubled the sauce on others recommendations and glad I did. Will be using this again and Chicken Tenders would be most excellent with this!! My chops were a boneless sirloin chop. I also skipped the oven part I fried them in my electric skillet.

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2005
This was okay don't know that i'll fix it again. If I did I would definatly use some onion in it either raw in the burrito or sauteed beforehand then added in with the sauce. I also would try it with less taco seasoning.

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2005
We thought this was very good. Will cut back on the salt next time. I had to use a little more flour to get it to the consistency that I wanted it at. My ultra picky child ate this too. So there will definatly be a next time. Husband said, It's not like the Army's there was more beef than there's. I probably used closer to 2 lbs of beef for the three of us and I had no leftovers.

Little Meat Loaves

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2004
Yup this is the one I will no longer search for the perfect meatloaf this is it. I will decrease the brown sugar a little next time as it was a little on the sweet side. But oh so good. MY husband said, this was better than his favorite restraunts.

Potato Salad III

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2004
My husband called me at 2am from work to let me know how good this was in his lunch. I used a bacon ranch dressing and gave this a diffrent kick from the usual potato salad I had used in the past.

Turkey Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2003
This was a really good Shepard's pie casserole that used turkey in place of beef. It was very good will be making this again in the future. I put the green beans in between the shredded cheese and potato mixture. It stills needs something either garlic or a dash of hot pepper sauce. But very good as written.

Kentucky Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2003
Wow this was fantastic!!!! This was the first time to make a pecan pie and was very pleased with the result. I don't have a 1/3 teaspoon so I only added 1/4 teaspoon of salt and it didn't matter at all. Still turned out really good. And I liked the fact that most of the ingredients were already in the pantry. My pie crust was frozen and I thought I had messed up by not thawing it but it turned out wonderfully.

Amaretto Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2003
This was a very yummy, moist, and simple cake. My husband asks daily when i'm going to make it again. Didn't have quite the almond flavor I thought that it would, so will increase the almond extract next go around. And as another reviewer suggested will use a glaze on top and add slivered almonds to it.
