Lemon Cupcake with Blackberry Buttercream

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
I followed this recipe exactly after finding it on Pinterest. The cupcake was heavy, like poundcake, and the frosting was over the top sweet. Disappointed. I love sweets but this recipe was no good for me....

Greek Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2006
Great recipe! My boyfriend actually made it. Use juice from 2 whole lemons and add more tomatoes. He also used whole wheat pasta and non-marinated artichokes, which reduces the fat content and makes it a bit healthier :) Hope he makes it again!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2005
This was pretty good, but I made a few changes. Instead of apples, I used 4 just ripe (but firm) nectarines. I used 3/4 pound strawberries (too many overpower the taste of the other fruits). I also used about 1/2 the sugar that is called for, and I used apricot preserves. It was a hit at a superbowl party, and the healthiest thing there :) Leftover fruit salsa can be put in a dessert dish and topped with whipped cream. Next time I may add some Mango.

Baked Halibut Steaks

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2004
This tasted excellent! I used Flounder and Tomato-Basil feta instead of plain feta. It turned out great, and I definately plan on making it again!

Maple Roast Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2003
This recipe was fantastic! This was my first Thanksgiving dinner and it went great! I recommend making the maple butter the night before, since I think the gravy tasted much better the next day after it had time to sit. I also recommend adding the brandy to a small sample of the gravy before adding, since you may not like it. I used dry marjoram which substituted well for the fresh. This will be a recipe in my permanent collection.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2003
WOW! This was the first time I ever made stuffing. It was fantastic...and there were NO leftovers! I used chicken broth instead of turkey broth, left out the turkey liver, and replaced the turkey sausage with ground sweet italian sausage. It was VERY easy to make and is definately to become a permanent part of future Thanksgiving dinners. I recommend this recipe to even the most novice of chefs!
