This was good for a low-fat recipe. The kids loved it as well.

Goulash Supreme

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2005
Awesome! Like other users, I omitted the tomato paste and instead of using the stewed tomatoes, I used two cans of diced tomatoes with green chiles and then some extra water. I also added a can of kidney beans to mine. This was so good. I am going to make it again today with homemade bread. Thanks for sharing!!!!

This was quick and easy to make. It was OK. My family didn't like it too well. I might try it again.

Grandma's Pork and Bean Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
Very good!!! I was skeptical about my husband liking this, but he did. He said he wouldn't want it every week or anything, but every now and then. It was so simple and FAST to make. I will use this recipe again when I am in a big hurry. Thanks.

Fantastic Mexican Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2004
I took the advice of other reviews and used a 9x13 and added refried beans as the bottom layer (2 cans). The suggestion for putting in a can of chili with no beans in with the cream cheese mixture was excellent. My guests ate it, but didn't devour it. It was good for leftovers also. Did use lettuce as decorative border as suggested.

Black Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2004
Beautiful presentation. I also used a glass bowl. It took me 45 minutes to make including clean up time. I thought it was good, but not the best recipe I used at my party. My guests just picked at it. Nobody asked for the recipe. I don't think I will make it again.

Cranberry-Lime Margarita Punch

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2004
This punch looked and tasted great. It had a bit of kick to it with the lime juice. I forgot to add the sugar on the first batch, but it still tasted great. Very, very good. I will use this recipe again.

Super Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2003
I didn't know how to start a homemade chicken noodle soup. This recipe was great for helping me out. I added carrots, celery and used stars instead of noodles. Both the kids and my husband loved it. Thanks so much for a simple starter recipe.

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2003
I never had sweet potatoes mashed before. I had only ever had them in chunks. I LOVED this and will never eat chunky sweet potatoes again. Mashed is the way to go!!! Everyone loved this. I will probably continue to make this each Thanksgiving and maybe throughout the year!!! I didn't have orange juice on hand, so I used apple. I used canned yams instead of peeling and slicing the sweet potatoes. SO SO easy. It was great - the best sweet potato recipe ever.

Best ever cinnamon roll recipe. I didn't have vanilla pudding, so I used butterscotch instead. Tasted soooo good.
