Chinese Night Market

Last Thursday, I went to Xuzhou City which located in the North of Jiangsu Province, China. Xuzhou is an important vital area of China and its history is very long which could be traced back to Han Dynasty and it was about two thousand and two hundred years ago.

In the morning, my friend came to the train station and took me to a breakfast store to eat the breakfast. The name of the store is "Liang Laifeng", which means ventilate in English. We selected the three-dice buns, the soy-bean milk and pickles. This store is very famous in Xuzhou and there were so many people queue up to buy the breakfast.

Near the sunset, my friend took me to the most famous night market of Xuzhou. There were so many booths to sell different kinds of Chinese food and desserts.

We bought two bowls of potato flour which was made of potatos. People grinded the potatos into powder and made it like noodles. The cooker put the potatos into the boiling water with sea-tent, skin of tofu, mung bean sprouts and quail egg. After pulling the potato flour out, the cooker will put some vinger and seasome oil into the bowls to make a nice taste.

There was a popular dessert in the night market which named fried bananas. I loved to eat this when I was in the high school. Using a piece of chopstick through a banana and put the banana into  sugared power and wrapped  it with the powder. Then frying the powdered banana until the power became crisp.

There were also the BBQ corn and Sushi in the night market which both are my favourite dessert. If you come to the Xuzhou, except for its long history, I will strongly recommend you to the night market to try these desserts. They are deserved for you to have a try.
