About Me
Hi! I’m passionate about cooking, I enjoy Italian and French cuisine and I’m definitely in love with polish cuisine. I’m a student at University of Washington, Seattle, I enjoy reading, travelling, getting to know the world and other people. Sport in particular jogging and sailing could be confidently classified as my most favorite way of spending free time :)
My favorite things to cook
Pasta with basil, delicate cheese souce, and fried shrimps in olive oil and butter served with the glass of red wine. Crapes, sushi, rosól (traditional polish soup), and barszcz served with pierogi filled with mushrooms and cabbage (another traditional polish dish).
My favorite family cooking traditions
First thing to come to my mind when thinking about family cooking traditions is Christmas dinner with all marvelous dishes that literally melt in your mouth – from mushroom soup and barszcz czerwony (polish soup) to pierogi and cakes. Very special for me was to eat meals together with my family - it’s a great way to strengthen family ties.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs are deviled eggs with parsley or with mushrooms and onions. Cooking for the first time Toskanska soup was also a very pleasurable experience.
My cooking tragedies
Adding too much salt to one of my soups. It was unmanageable to save.
