Hello everyone :)

I am Crystal and will be doing a summer internship at allrecipes.com. I am going to South Korea to collect recipes of some genuine Korean cuisines. When I first visited allrecipes.com, I was a bit sad for I could only see a few Korean recipes. Some of them were good recipes, but not very authentic. Therefore, I aim to provide you, the readers with authentic Korean recipes that most Koreans would eat at home. Additionally, Korean food culture varies depending upon the province from where it originates, so I would also like to introduce people to the diversity that is present in Korean food culture. If you want to know the recipe for specific Korean dish, please let me know! I will try my best to post simple and delicious recipes that you can make in the comforts of your own home be it in Korea or some place else.

My brother's wife is Korean from Seoul. She used to make a spinach and ginger, very spicy dish that was great. If you come across something like that, I would love a recipe.

Hi. mauigirl. Although I am Korean, I am not a huge fan of Kimchi either. However, if you stir-fry or cook it, the taste becomes better!
