I actually had all of these ingredients in my house! We had some lovely fresh shrimp and this recipe was perfect for it. The sauce has a lovely, light, soft flavor. Perfect for when you don't want to eat heavy foods.

Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

I read what some of the other reviewers said about the dish being bland. I made quite a few modifications including adding chicken stock to the boiling water, as well as all of my spices. I cooked the orzo with the spices to try and add some flavor. Then I cooked the chicken separately on the grill using the same spices, minus the red pepper. I was very generous with quantities in both situations. After the orzo was done, I topped it with the grilled chicken. It turned out delicious. My boyfriend, who hates chicken, ate so much he couldn't move :)

Uncle Jesse's French Toast

VERY easy to do. We do not usually have milk in our house so this was an excellent alternative. We also like a lot of flavor and tend to not think very far ahead when planning meals. This fit all of our criteria, had lots of flavor, and was very easy to make. The 5 servings portion made 7 pieces of french toast.

Grilled Montana Trout

We didn't have a whole trout, so I used two fillets and put them together, skin side out. This worked great. Also, didn't have fresh spices, so used dried and sprinkled it on the fish. Fish was flavorful but not overwhelming in flavor.

Eggy Veggie Bake

I modified this recipe quite a bit with the veggies, but I followed the other ingredients closely. We thought the worcestershire made the vegetables taste funny. Might make again without it and substitute a different sauce.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

This recipe provides an excellent, simple base for adding additional flavor. I added cider mulling spice and vanilla. Pancakes fluff up really well, but do not have that extra Wow flavor factor unless you add something to them.

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

This recipe was very easy to make, however, it lacked in flavor. What flavor it had was because I covered the chicken in spices before cooking them. I also added french fried onions to the top. I would make again, but I will definitely add more spices and more soup.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Recipe was very easy and quick to prepare. I purchase pre sliced carrots to save a step. Also, should have cut the potatoes into quarters. I like them very soft. Added sliced mushrooms and fresh chopped garlic. We really enjoyed this!

Margaret's Southern Chocolate Pie

For a chocolate connoisseur, this recipe is too sweet and sugary. While my chocolate came out smooth, it reeked of sugar. I was only able to purchase hershey's unsweeted chocolate, which contributed to the sweetness. I hope to try this recipe again, but with Belgian dark chocolate, less sugar, and a layer of peanut butter.

Quick and Easy Dip

Extremely simple! Everyone enjoyed it. I would maybe add a little less cream cheese next time. I also used pre-shredded mexican style cheese.

Chicken Stuffed Buns

I made these for during a football game. Everyone enjoyed them and they reheat well in the oven. I used short sourdough rolls instead of long rolls and low-fat cream cheese. No one noticed the difference.

Pineapple Cobbler

This recipe was simple, easy and quick, yet everyone loved it! Putting the butter in the pan before you put the other ingredients in is key for a crisp crust. Will definitely make again! I substituted fake butter for real butter and used crushed pineapple instead of chunks.
